Two Couples Ambushed By Group Of Men While Walking Down Detroit Street Stripped Of Clothes And Sexually Assaulted CBS Detroit
How may I hear these annoying stories? Crazy America.
I would do absolutely everything in my power to kill as many of them as possible. If I get killed in the process so be it, I could not watch this happen to a loved one.
my son is there with his church doing some clean up work.

kinda cool and sad

cool that he went, sad that he needed to.

Interesting that the article say's police are looking for six men, yet do not mention the race of the men. They give a sketch of three of them, but I would assume the race is known of all six.
Is there a reason (sarcasm alert) they didn't take the time to inform the public of who to be on the lookout for ?

That's kind of scary, so if you are victimized can you go after the authorities for not protecting you? If crime so low it doesn't matter? We essentially have the same thing in a lot of the USA I guess, because the creeps have guns . Where is such a praised safety???

I wouldn't be caught dead in Detroit!
Of course you wouldn't. They catch you first and THEN they kill you. :slap:
You missed the obvious point. Detroit is off limits to sane people. I will not be caught in any condition in Detroit. Detroit is a liberal cesspool.

After being raped by the UAW, is was infested with rampant liberalism and its self-destructive welfare programs.

Detroit has some beautiful neighborhoods and great restaurants and event centers. As with every other large city, there are also neighborhoods where prudent people would not knowingly travel.

Many of the areas around Detroit are vibrant and thriving, and I would bet that the standard of living in the SMSA (and including Windsor) compares favorably with other Eastern metropoli.

To write off the whole city as is done above is ignorant.

Terrible what a city Detroit became. That's where scofflaw cops are needed to deal with thugs like these.

Quite true! The bell shaped curve applies to Detroit as well as any other large city, including...Baghdad. I wouldn't visit either without armed body guards...such as I had on my visit to Kandahar.

I have no doubt that a well honed culture with deep and long lived appreciation of arts, cuisine, scholarship, local history, tolerance, family values and gentile behavior resides in Detroit....just as it did in my home town in the mid-1900s. It too has been blighted by liberalism and laziness, though the cultured crowd still hangs on. There are places around my home that I dare not go without sidearms, a full tank and run-flat tires. The difference between Detroit and here is pronounced.

I can make a wrong turn here and easily get out of it. A wrong turn in Detroit can lead to a statistical disappearance.

Kudos to those holding up the right standards. What you need is some conservative, hard-handed...but fair...government. Good luck with that!

I go to Detroit frequently for Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings games. The areas around those venues is perfectly safe has been my experience. As posted above though, like all big cities, you shouldn't venture off the beaten paths into other areas if you care about your well being.
