Twitter experts: How do get my phone to dingdong when my friend tweets?

I'm a twitter newbie. I have figured how to follow him, and I can see his tweets when he writes them. But my phone (iPhone 5c) never dings when he does a tweet.

How do I get it to beep when one of his tweets comes in?
