Soros sponsored (tax exempt) Media Matters went through every aspect of president Bush's life as well as his family. The left pretended to be outraged by allegations of college drinking and a DUI on one of his daughters. The same media defended the substance abuse of the current president's son by claiming that Hunter's laptop was "Russian disinformation" when it was real. The point is that the left has the advantage when the media is in the business of defending high profile democrats while feigning outrage about republican misbehavior. Lots of celebrities delt with substance abuse in their kids and succeeded in turning them around but it looks like O'Donnell didn't give a damn about her daughter or her granddaughter and the media would rather ignore the whole thing.
