Turning trump's foreign policy rationale on its head.

Trump wants to establish offshore gulags. And his flock is fine with it.

What the fuck happened to us? Or is this who we always were?

'Homegrowns are next': Trump doubles down on sending American 'criminals' to foreign prisons

As the two men entered the Oval Office, before reporters were allowed in the room, Trump discussed his proposal to send what he called American "criminals" accused of violent crimes to El Salvador and told Bukele he needed to build more prisons to house them.

"Homegrown criminals next," Trump said, according to a livestream posted by Bukele's office. "I said homegrowns are next, the homegrowns. You gotta build about five more places."

Bukele was heard responding "alright" and others in the room laughed.

"It's not big enough," Trump added.
someone actually trying to do something about crime.....you must hate that mac....

Despite the left's trying to scare people with claims that Trump will be coming for them next...this is an issue that the American people agree on. By almost 80/20 they want criminal illegals removed from the country. They don't want to have MS13 gang members in their cities and towns. They understand the danger. The Democrats don't care. They've become the party of Coastal Elites and illegal aliens. They don't care about the rest of us. They care about the rights of people who came here illegally under Joe Biden's open border policies and were engaged in criminal activity. The Senator from Maryland will go all the way to El Salvador for a photo op with Garcia but he won't visit the family of a woman murdered by an illegal in his own State! You want to know why Democrats are losing support? That right there illustrates how lost they are!

Abrego Garcia was in court several times, he had his "due process".
The OP is opposite what the USSC 9-0 decision said.
just another berg TDS thread...

Actually, while illegal immigrants have limited constitutional rights here, the 5th and 14th Amendments specifically apply to Garcia, as established by Zadvydas v. Davis (2001) and Reno v. Flores (1993).

The text of the 5th Amendment explicitly states, "No person" meaning anyone in the US, legal or illegal.
Agreed.

IOW, you feel you know more about the legality of the deportation than the conservative judge who wrote this?

It is difficult in some cases to get to the very heart of the matter. But in this case, it is not hard at all. The government is asserting a right to stash away residents of this country in foreign prisons without the semblance of due process that is the foundation of our constitutional order. Further, it claims in essence that because it has rid itself of custody that there is nothing that can be done. This should be shocking not only to judges, but to the intuitive sense of liberty that Americans far removed from courthouses still hold dear.

Criminals belong in prison. Illegals get deported by "remain in Mexico". If Biden and the democrats didn't have open borders we would have so many dangerous people to get rid of. Biden was a national security disaster. He let in 166,000 Chinese, 125,000 Russians, 500,000 convicted criminals, and hundreds of terrorists, including ISIS.
The AEA says that there is no "judicial review" for deporting a "predatory invasion".

policies that the voters gave him a mandate to carry out.
That assertion remains a steaming pile of bullshit no matter how many times it gets repeated. You may support the repeated violations of law the regime has engaged in but you don't speak for the majority of Dotard's voters.

The AEA is not applicable under current circumstances. Why do you keep making the same flawed arguments?

Does the AEA exist? Yes or no?
There are two distinct sets of illegals, criminals and non-criminals.
Non-criminals get deported by "remain in Mexico", give them a hearing date and deport them.
Criminals should go to prison via the AEA, or if the courts want "due process" give them a hearing date, and then send them to prison.

Your hero, Garcia was sent to his home country. He was in this country illegally because your pretend president and his DIE hire VP ignored immigration law.
He was deported to El Salvador ILLEGALLY… in violation of a court order precluding that

Half of the people sent to CECOT were neither criminals nor gang members

The regime claims the judicial branch is infringing on matters of foreign policy.

Trump administration has accused the judiciary of overstepping and interfering with the executive branch's ability to conduct foreign policy.

I contend the executive branch is actually usurping the authority of the judiciary to be the judge of whether Garcia and his fellow deportees deserved to be sent to El Salvador. The regime is trying to bypass one of the three branches of government and consolidate power for itself. It believes it has the power to send those people to a foreign gulag, most likely for the rest of their lives, without judicial review. This is trump's domestic policy solution for removing alleged gang members. Not foreign policy towards El Salvador.

Remember, even the enemy combatants sent to Guantanamo were given the opportunity to have a judicial process weigh in on their fate.
Which is in total a mistake. Foreigners do not deserve ANY amount of legal process. They’re sub-human trash. They’re lower than even our homeless population. They should not have any ability to access the judicial system.
