Turks began softening ISIS targets yesterday with air strikes and artillery guided by boots on the ground Turkish Special Forces. They have now entered the Syrian border area with ground troops and tanks. Reports are that they have captured at least one ISIS enclave and have inflicted heavy casualties on the ISIS defenders.

It's becoming clear Isis' days are numbered. They are in retreat nearly everywhere and are having trouble recruiting. Their already tiny territory is constantly shrinking as well.

As with all 'terrorists', attacks on innocents around the world will likely continue but will also continue to dwindle. With the final death of the 'caliphate' will also come the realization that no 'caliphate' will rise again. The blow to a long-term continuation of this psychotic 'jihad' cannot be underestimated. This was by far the best chance for those who wanted to drag the world back a thousand years and it will soon be ground into dust and history.

It didn't matter if anyone did or didn't say 'radical islamic jihad'. It only mattered that they were being defeated on the ground and losing territory. The adults handled this one.

arrogant chest beating, islamic jihadism isn't going away, there are many more groups Jihadist groups around the world - BBC News

The 'adults' let it happen in the first place, the 'adult' Erdogan is an islamist himself turning turkey from secular to Islamic, it only took 20 of these assholes to conduct 9/11, Islamic Iran talks about destroying Isreal, the Taliban is still around....

The fact that it even occurred should startle anyone, nevermind- you are too busy having butt sex with your liberal religion, sorry for the interruption

Yeah the death of ISIS has been predicted for a while now, but they keep doing things unexpected by their enemies. Their current situation with Turkey is a natural predictable situation given their bombings in that country. Erdogan used to be sympathetic to them to some degree, but now he wants their heads on a stake.

Still ISIS has been allowed to exist long enough to metastasize around the globe.

What an ignorant response to facts given to you.

You ought to be ashamed, but Democrats dont have that capacity after a few years, so I wont waste the electrons.

Backed by Turkish army, Syrian rebels push ISIS out of border town Jarablus - Middle East News

Turkish special forces, tanks and jets backed by planes from the U.S.-led coalition launched their first co-ordinated offensive into Syria on Wednesday to try to drive Islamic State from the border and prevent further gains by Kurdish militia fighters.

Thihs is just a way of Turkey doing more to secure its border by setting up a buffer zone of friendly rebels. It is not a precursor to cleansing all of Syria of these shitstains.

Turkey doesn't want ISIS near their border so this attack is all about that.

ISIS will be around and killing for a long time. Anyone who thinks they will fade away is dumber than a box of rocks. There will always be dumbasses who will be joining them.

Someone rooting for Isis, rather odd but to each their own I guess.

Suddenly liberals love war. Now another country is directly involved. Now more ISIS attacks will happen in Turkey. I suppose you idiots think we should directly support our NATO "ally" as well.

Let all these Muslims war with each other all they want, we should stay the fuck out of it.

And when "ISIS" is gone, some other batshit crazy Islamists will replace them. You sound just as stupid as Bush when he thought he could bring democracy to the Islamic savages in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Another derp that can't read. Reread what I posted. If you think a movement like this lasts forever you don't know history at all.

The Turks are not advancing into Syria to fight ISIL, they're after the Kurds fighting there. They are doing everything they can to stop the Kurds from taking territory in Syria.
