Turkey on Monday rejected the parliamentary elections held in Crimea, which Russia illegally annexed from Ukraine in 2014, underlining the country's support for Ukraine's territorial integrity.


In a statement, Tanju Bilgiç, spokesperson for the Turkish Foreign Ministry, said: "Turkey maintains its support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and does not recognize the unlawful annexation of Crimea."

"West" wanted to have Ukraine under its protectorate, what did Ukraine get in return else than Russia pummeling Ukraine and chopping off Crimea from its territory?
EU and USA did nothing, just like they did nothing when Russia invaded parts of Georgia. At least USA acted in whole Ex-Yugoslavia theatre where the Eurotrash good-weather talkers failed to act also. A lot of European Armies have serious problems with recruiting new soldiers despite their Armies already having been shrinked to joke levels. Just imagine all the elite-units in those Armies! The more applications for joining elite units the higher the standards as you can reject all those wannabe-Rambo couch potatoes whom you have to incorporate into elite-units because not enough people are joining the Army. Whole system in Russia works differently! And in USA enthusiasm for their Army is much much higher than in Europe, so enough people are joining the Army for the time being hence USA still has capable soldiers because US Army can select people based on ability and skills, not just fill quotas with first available idiot although LGBT-climate-savers seems to be taking over there slowly, also.
