I have read that there is so much corruption in Russia with Poootin and other Oligarchs stealing freely from the military budget. Their military is outdated and underfunded. Their personnel is poorly trained and disloyal. As in Syria and now Ukraine, they instill fear in the populous by attacking defenseless citizens. They have found that they cannot compete head to head with another army. So they destroy civilians and residential areas. Their attack on the shopping mall with 1,000 souls inside show how cowardly and toothless they are.

All of the deep dive stuff I read by military analysts agrees that the Russian military is rife with corruption, and rampant cronyism means a lot of incompetent people are in charge of stuff.

But you're faced with having to understand why that didn't happen.

And so when America joins the war, identified by it's flag, will the attack on Russia be that devastating, or even more so?

And then, we'll have to go on to considering how Russia will respond?
