Tulsi Gabbard Turning Republican

Not a surprise, as she's been flirting with the idea for some time now. I doubt it makes much of a difference--but I guess she sees more opportunity for herself on the Right.

Former U.S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard, a longtime Democrat from Hawaii before turning independent in 2022, said that she has decided to join the Republican Party.

Gabbard made the announcement while addressing the crowd at former President Donald Trump's rally in North Carolina for a few minutes Tuesday evening, during which she praised the GOP presidential nominee for bringing the Republican Party "back to the party of the people and the party of peace."

"To those of you here or those watching at home who are independent-minded people like myself, who love our country and are committed to the Constitution and to freedom, the Democratic Party has no home for people like us," Gabbard said. "But we do have a home in the Republican Party where we are welcomed with open arms by President Trump."

"I'm proud to stand here with you today, President Trump, and announce that I'm joining the Republican Party," she added.
Many say the same. The party left them. Jillian Michaels, Elon Musk, Bobby Kennedy, Ana Kasparian, Bill Ackman.

The Democrats are the party of the welfare recipients on one end, and the wealthy on the other, with a big contingent of anti-Israel haters thrown in.

The Republicans are the party of the working and middle class - the backbone of the nation - along with anti-Islamic terrorists.

The Democratic Party threw her out. Where was she supposed to go?

The Demwit Party screwed up when they swept Tulsi under the rug. She was one of the last Dems with a modicum of common sense. I didn't agree with her on many issues, but at least she presented herself in a respectable manner. She's right about one thing: the Demwit Party is unrecognizable when compared to the JFK days.

Anyway, her switch to the Republican Party is mostly symbolic, but it also signifies the changes occurring within the GOP. The new GOP is attempting to cast off it's warmongering, globalist image and attempting to be more populist and nationalistic. We'll see where it lands.

In the meantime, I remain an independent and will not join either of the major Parties unless and until they embrace the vision and intent of the Founding Fathers. Smaller government and more individual freedom, while always placing America First.

How old is Tulsi?

She doesn't know anything about JFK days. She wasn't born until 1983.
