Woman have a much higher pain tolerance built in, because of the pain of child birth.
And modern weapons do not require great strength.
So I think women likely do well in combat normally.
If there is a concern, it may be that having a woman at risk might somehow diminish the performance of men in some way?

I tried getting that across to my Niece, every time she comes home for holidays. She is now a Major in the U.S. Army, and a doctor. I told her that no matter what your job is, you're still a soldier. And it's a soldiers job to kill the enemy, if need be.

It's the ony way they're ever gonna truly know how things go down and how things truly function in the armed services, particularly these useless and wasteful quarrels abroad.

I feel the same way sometimes. I'm actually sending my youngest son to a boot camp for teens run by the National Guard. He says he wants to join the military so I thought I'd give him a taste first.
