No, I don't think so either. It was about his willingness to die to keep the 2nd Amendment in my opinion. The other god given rights are now protected, obviously. Problem solved.

That has zero to do with the moral breakdown of these teachers.

I was neither a fan nor a detractor of Kirk. I knew who he was. I listened to a few reels of him on social media having his discussions with college students. I thought he made some good points at times. What happened to him was tragic, but I also don't expect the event of his death to significantly alter the average American's daily life.

That said, I can't understand people like this. This is a psychopathy. We're not talking about the mocking of the brutal murder of a dictator or despot or the execution of a serial killer. We're talking about the murder of a man who held political opinions that millions of others hold as well, but these people just happened to not agree with. I saw stuff like this all over social media in the immediate aftermath, especially on TikTok. What's alarming is how much of this psychosis is present in the education system in this country. It's almost daily that I'm seeing another video or article of a school teacher behaving in a vile manner in public or being caught in some perverted act public or private. I can't imagine any of the teachers I had as a kid acting like this. It was unheard of when I was a kid. What has happened to our teaching profession? When did the bar get lowered so low that it hit bottom and allowed these types of people to be in a classroom?

If those teachers were fired, the only people that I feel sorry for are their students because it's only going to make those kids wonder even more if their beliefs are only going to lead to them getting shot at.
