I was neither a fan nor a detractor of Kirk. I knew who he was. I listened to a few reels of him on social media having his discussions with college students. I thought he made some good points at times. What happened to him was tragic, but I also don't expect the event of his death to significantly alter the average American's daily life.

That said, I can't understand people like this. This is a psychopathy. We're not talking about the mocking of the brutal murder of a dictator or despot or the execution of a serial killer. We're talking about the murder of a man who held political opinions that millions of others hold as well, but these people just happened to not agree with. I saw stuff like this all over social media in the immediate aftermath, especially on TikTok. What's alarming is how much of this psychosis is present in the education system in this country. It's almost daily that I'm seeing another video or article of a school teacher behaving in a vile manner in public or being caught in some perverted act public or private. I can't imagine any of the teachers I had as a kid acting like this. It was unheard of when I was a kid. What has happened to our teaching profession? When did the bar get lowered so low that it hit bottom and allowed these types of people to be in a classroom?

.

The people in those photos are evil and will learn.

They obviously haven't learned a thing yet, but losing their livelihoods may teach them.

.

Yet, they would freak out if a teacher were killed and these shirts were made available for students or parents.
.

How would the parents of their so-called students feel if their children showed up wearing blood-spattered shirts, given to them by those so-called "teachers"?

an excerpt from a recent poll..

Twenty-six percent of liberals under 45 years old, compared with 12 percent of liberals 45 and older, said political violence can sometimes be justified; 12 percent of moderates under 45 years old, compared with 6 percent of moderates 45 and over, said it’s sometimes justified; and 7 percent of younger conservatives, compared with 4 percent of older conservatives, said it’s sometimes justified.

Hideous! Is this a really new thing, brought to the public? I searched, but could find no local news story, with reaction of school board, or public, in any actual news outlet.

I wouldn't permit it, but then, My Sons are 45 and 43 respectively. They would NOT wear a shirt like that for any reason.

It's worse than that. I remember one time a handgun was lifted off a kid in school and at least 1/3 of the teaching staff lost their shit. No one was shot, no one was hurt, but a staff meeting a few days later turned into an emo-fest.

Personally, they, being instructors of children should be fired. What message are they sending
to impressionable children? I think they were trying to send a message to the
children, and it wasn't Freedom of Speech.
Not a good look for teachers who are complaining about school shootings as well. What message does this send?

No, I don't think so either. It was about his willingness to die to keep the 2nd Amendment in my opinion. The other god given rights are now protected, obviously. Problem solved.

According to those users, Kirk, a staunch supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump, once said, "I think it's worth it. I think it's worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights."
