Did not charge the same percentage of tariffs that China did.LOL... Not sure what is more hilarious. That you think that would work or that you really think that tariffs would create this change.
For example. If you would open your eyes.... The tarriffs were in place for years under both Trump and Biden (the ones he kept in place). So what has happened to the American alternatives to the Chinese imports? Clearly the Chinese products are a lot more expensive now, right? Nope. American manufacturers have raised their prices to take advantage.
Did not charge Chinese tariffs on products from Chinese owned businesses in other countries.
Try that next time.
He says some off the wall stupid shit, so does Harris.Meanwhile back in reality, the other day your blob said he’d put 200% tariffs on John Deere if they moved their manufacturing.
Just out of nowhere.
Look...here is a news story confirming it!!!!

Trump threatens Deere with 200% tariffs if it shifts manufacturing to Mexico
The tractor giant's plan to move some production south of the border is tied up in election politics as the economy becomes more central to campaign messaging.www.supplychaindive.com

Donald Trump threatens 200% tariff if John Deere moves production to Mexico
Former President Donald Trump, campaigning in Pennsylvania, threatened a 200% tariff if Deere carries out plan to move some production to Mexico.www.desmoinesregister.com
Even the right leaning WSJ Editorial page said he was absolutely crazy for doing so:
I’m sure you’ll rush to defend your blob who essentially did the EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT YOU JUST SAID--"You're not doing it to please your constituency. Nor would we do it recklessly. Reciprocal tariff simply means we match their tariffs. No protectionism allowed, by anyone."
C’mon lets hear it.
Harris said she would not have done one thing different in the past 4 years. But she is running on a change platform. Why didn't she and Biden do that change during the past 4 years?
The more you try that, the faster they move out of Dodge. The only way to do that would be to, gasp, get corporate America to accept a lower profit margin. Tariffs won’t do it. Of course, neither would anything else as long as they serve the stockholders instead of the greater good. Perhaps we should teach ethics in business schools and how the local factory fits into national defense, national prosperity, and all that stuff. Oh wait...that would require a federal approach to education. Can’t have that now, can we?
These businesses are moving into countries where it is more profitable.
Your comment is a dream and self-serving.
