Trump's Supporters In Rural Areas Are In For A Nasty Surprise

Buyer’s remorse is rampant since Trump and the GOP barely won the election. Muslim Americans in Michigan who supported Trump are now begging Biden to save Gaza from escalation from Bibi. Wall Street executives are alarmed by Trump’s tariffs. Hispanics in south Florida are freaking out about the mass deportation scheme. Weren’t they paying attention before the election?

Now it’s the farmers who are sounding the alarm about Trump’s plans to carry out his promises to jack up tariffs and deport 10 to 15 million immigrants. Apparently, they thought Trump was bloviating and didn’t really mean to carry out his promises. That’s a common talking point on the right these days. I thought Trump meant what he said.

Rural America has been the foundation of MAGA Republican support. In 2024, Trump won rural voters by an overwhelming margin of 64% to 32% over Harris. Moreover, Trump won over 77% of the popular vote, on average, in the nation’s most farming dependent counties.

Trump’s loyal supporters in the nation’s farm belt are (justifiably) worried that Trump is going to badly damage their $1.5 trillion industry. His extreme deportation plan is causing widespread panic among farmers at risk of losing workers and business. Agricultural output will decline between $30 and $60 billion if Trump’s signature deportation policy is carried out.

The soybean and grain dependent Midwest is especially at risk, since this part of the country needs the federal government’s program that allows certain companies to bring foreign workers into the U.S. to fill temporary agriculture jobs. The forced removal of immigrant farm workers will badly hurt Nebraska.

A study released last month by the National Corn Growers Association found another failed Trump trade war with China could cost U.S. soybean and corn farmers as much as $7.3 billion in annual production value.

These people voted for Trump because they were scared of trans women using girls bathrooms or the 1 or 2 trans girls nationwide that might actually want to play sports. Now look at what they are facing.

Bitch about Bidens actual tariffs before your dumbass crys about Trump tariffs that haven't even happened yet...
WashingtonCNN —
The Biden administration said Friday that it has finalized tariff hikes on certain Chinese-made products that the president first announced in May.

The tariff rate will go up to 100% on electric vehicles, to 50% on solar cells and to 25% on electrical vehicle batteries, critical minerals, steel, aluminum, face masks and ship-to-shore cranes beginning September 27, according to the US Trade Representative’s Office

“Buyer’s remorse”. LOL.

Speak for yourself you absolute muppet. Kamala still won’t take any responsibility for blowing a billion dollars on her campaign.

Dem donors are pissed:

This thread is not about some bullshit posted by Tucker Carlson. It is about what people see coming.

The Democrats/WEF are against private property ownership. In fact, they wanted to tax our children on what they would receive if the property was sold, even though the owners had no intention of selling. That is called unrealized capital gains, and the Democrats want 45% of that money that the owners don't have. That is aside from the death tax and inheritance tax.

Do you know what farmers know? That their children won't have to sell the family farm to pay the taxes on the family farm thanks to Donald Trump.

The daily propaganda kook, SERIOUSLY????????

Trump ran on deportations, are you saying the farmers didn't believe him? And China didn't live up to their previous agreement with Trump, that's why xiden never removed Trump's tariffs and actually added more. Where was you daily propaganda kook then? Also grains, cotton and even sugar cane are harvested by machines. Funny I'm not seeing anything about fruit growers in the OP. Seems like since you commies have had so much practice with propaganda, you'd be better at it. ROFLMFAO

They will have to sell the family farm to the corporate farm company because they will go bankrupt if trump imposes those tariffs.

FARM AID concerts monthly. Family Farmers are going bust. Trump don't care. Trump needed this win to stay out of prison.
Oh he might go, mark my words. He might.

Democrats = pro slave labor.

Democrats say... if you kick out the illegals, who will pick the crops and clean the toilets for slave wages under the table?
/—-/ Are democRATs so out of touch, they never heard of LEGAL migrant farm workers? No one is rounding them up to send them home.
Morons.

Farm bankrupties have been in a steady decline since 2015, with a slight bump in 2019, but overall going down
