Maybe politics played a part in getting some of the indictments. However, it ends there. The judges in 3 of the upcoming trials are republican appointees. Half the cases are in states where Trump is popular and half are in states where Biden is popular. All the judges are known for nonpolitical ruling and fairness. One primary criteria in selecting juries will be be to see to it that juries do not have strong political preferences. In short, if Trump is every brought to trial and convicted it will be because he did committed the crimes as charged.

However, I wouldn't worry about Trump going to jail. He has been able to avoid or tip the scales of justice all his life.

Getting prosecutors to abide by the law and get tougher on criminals. Trying to keep China from buying up land. Opening up his state. Reducing toll fee's for FL residents. And a whole slew of other things.
The left is the ones who were solely focused on the trans/gay stuff.
Considering that those people only make up about 5% of Floridians, I'd say he was listening to the people.
