President Trump insists he owns a real Renoir painting — but a Chicago museum says the version he has isn’t the real deal.

The Art Institute of Chicago said it owns the authentic version of the “Two Sisters (On the Terrace)” painting by French impressionist Pierre-Auguste Renoir and that it’s been hanging in its gallery since 1933.

I tried to research this. Nothing. Just the echo chamber with liberal media endlessly quoting each other.

In reality, if Trump had a Renoir he would have it insured meaning it would have to be authenticated. So either Trump was funning with the guy, or the conversation never happened at all.

There was better luck looking into Tim O'Brien the biographer. Who as it turns out is a biographer only for purposes of this smear.

He is a writer specializing in short stories about Viet Nam. In his own words, numerous people wanted to make movies based on his stories. Yeah. There's just no movie.

He decided to write an expose` of Trump's wealth. I guess it wasn't a big seller.
