Trump's Muslim Ban...and the countries that aren't on it

What's most disconcerting about his ban is the exclusion of countries where he has SIGNIFICANT business interests.

Ethics.

Oh boy, another one duped by Democrat Fake News. It's not a 'Muslim Ban.' Trump is limiting Immigration from certain countries. Muslims will still be allowed in the US. The nations on the list are very dangerous known Terror-Haven nations.

This action should have been taken a long time ago. We should have suspended all Immigration from nations like Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen, years ago. The #1 priority has to be protecting Americans. That's why i fully support Trump on this.

Why isn't Saudi Arabia on the list? Is the buttlove for oil too strong for you?

Speaking of far left debunked religious narratives..

Obama administration arms sales offers to Saudi top $115 billion: report

He also vetoed the bill that would have allowed 9/11 victims' families to sue Saudi Arabia. I thought that was truly shameful. Him and Hilary Clinton were in bed bigtime with the Saudis.

You can dress it up anyway you want, but it amounts to a backdoor Muslim ban. Do you realize what havoc this is causing to people? People who have been vetted and cleared to come here, being stopped and arrested in airports? People with green cards visiting family in foreign countries suddenly can't come back to the US?

Fuck this shit.
what , huh , a LEGAL backdoor ban of muslims , -------- well GOOD !!

An updated Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) application with additional questions on travel to Libya, Somalia, and Yemen will be released this spring 2016 to address exceptions for diplomatic- and military-related travel provided for in the Act.

Actually it isn't. It's Trump's own. And it's extremely broad, vague and poorly worded.

Trump is reverting to his demlite stuff and imitating the man he liked the most in political life, Jimmy Carter.

How funny: Trump wants to be Carter.

There are a lot of similarities. Carter marched in on Washington with his gang of outsiders promising to drain the swamp.
He did not drain it although he did not swim in it.

Trump swims in it and cannot afford to drain it.

Fuck this shit.

Lay off the Democrat Fake News kid. Muslims will still be allowed in the US. Trump took the appropriate action. We shouldn't be accepting Thousands in from these very dangerous nations. When or if these nations get their Terrorism problems under control, we can consider resuming regular Immigration with them. But not before then.

Unfortunately, if they're coming from those terror-haven nations, they may not be allowed in the country. I'm sorry, but the #1 priority is protecting Americans. There is no upside for Americans accepting Thousands in from insanely dangerous nations like Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, and so on. Like i said, when or if those countries get their terrorism problems under control, we can consider resuming regular Immigration with them.

which i have already posted and obviously you have painfully ignored

Pursuant to the Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security had sixty days to determine whether additional countries or areas of concern should be subject to the travel or dual nationality restrictions under the Act. After careful consideration, and in consultation with the Director of National Intelligence and the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Homeland Security has determined that Libya, Somalia, and Yemen be included as countries of concern, specifically for individuals who have traveled to these countries since March 1, 2011. At this time, the restriction on Visa Waiver Program travel will not apply to dual nationals of these three countries. DHS continues to consult with the Department of State and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to develop further criteria to determine whether other countries would be added to this list.

The three additional countries designated today join Iran, Iraq, Sudan and Syria as countries subject to restrictions for Visa Waiver Program travel for certain individuals. Under the new law, the Secretary of Homeland Security may waive these restrictions if he determines that such a waiver is in the law enforcement or national security interests of the United States.

That's from Feb 2016. Now compare that to Trump's EO.
