Trump's immorality and his support by Christians

I can see how a non-Christian already pre-disposted to hate any Republican in the WH woul I d be upset that Christians support trump in spite of his multiple marriage, and reputed affairs. I'll see if I can explain it:

Christians of the type that support Trump hate the sin but love the sinner. They believe in forgiveness and renewal. If Trump claims that he has become a Christian and left his formerly sinful life behind, Christians must accept it, because they want their own sins to be forgiven also. If Trump is lying about being a Christian, then he will be judged by the only judge, not by Christians.

Trump moved the Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, some thing promised by never done by several presidents before him. To a Christian, that means more than any past affairs.

You don't have to agree or even understand this Christian attitude. People vote how they vote.
interesting....the issue is I think a lot of Christians think Xiden is immoral....so there is that.

People vote how they want to.As a lifelong Christian it goes against my morals to vote for a rich person. Buts that's me. It's over the top and blasphemous when people say "God chose this person" etc. That's plain idiocy and anti Christian.

Its a simple choice between Traditional Family Values and decadence/depravity.

So, being married 3 times, cheating on all 3 wives, including cheating on the 1st one with the 2nd one and fucking a porn star while you wife is recovering from child birth is "Traditional Family Values".

No wonder our country is so fucked up

He is.

But so is Trump.

and the vast majority of our elected representatives.

So Christians have to vote for someone. Christians are just like everyone else...frankly I don't get the obession with people's personal religious beliefs

Seems they could choose to vote for someone that is not the paragon of immorality.

Neither Biden nor Pelosi has had an abortion
Biden has his own issues with the church. He claims to be a devout Catholic, yet deliberately and openly violates one of their chief tenets. No wonder they deny him communion. One should be careful to avoid throwing stones when one is in a glass house.

There were only two choices, Trump or Xiden...obviously some feel Xiden is far more immoral. Some might of felt differently....not sure how you are casting a vote for ALL Christians with your comment. They don't all vote the same way.....geez

The bible seems to be good guide. have you ever read it?
Sure. I've also read the constitution and it allows each religious individual to interpret their religion as they see fit.
Yeah, me too. Too bad there is no support for such a thing in the bible.
Ok, bible thumper.
It is called pandering to the masses.
The only difference being that Trump kept that promise while your Two parties Gods were just lying..

There are always more choices. Especially in the primaries.

And then there are those of us who would never vote for either. One in no way makes the other any better.

So let's throw some completely unknown and untested candidate into the equation, cross our fingers, and hope to hell that he doesn't further fuck things up. Maybe he'll be like Vermin Supreme, who will give us all a free pony. Or the "Rent's Too Damned High" guy. Or Andrew Yang, who'd give us all a thousand dollars. Or Ron Paul, who would legalize drugs and let Iran have nukes...

That's a bold move there, Cotton. :laughing0301:

Funny how Biden, Pelosi, and other dems claim to be Catholic and yet are for murdering fetuses. Very immoral.
