It isn't the speech you allow others to make that needs protecting, it is the speech you so disapprove of that the protections are for, until you understand the academic importance of that concept you will never have freedom of speech in europe, instead you have heads of state/elites able to silence the very people they lord over for nothing more than insults, in this country making such statements can bring you fame and fortune.
