Trump's First FAILED Promise

So far, Trump has not made our lives any better,

Nor did your preference which was the obama-biden junta

Your side had 12 years but trump has not even had 41 days

Well that's a total lie.
  • The two strongest economic recoveries in US history;
  • The Affordable Care Act;
  • The Inflation Reduction Act - which was to be reducing the price of insulin to $35 a month, as well as 8 other commonly prescribed drugs,
  • The Infrastructure Act,
  • Highest oil and gas production in US history;
  • Student protest ended OVERNIGHT, with no loss of life or serious injury
  • Reduction in opioid deaths under Biden - the first since the crisis started
Trump had 4 years during which time he laid WASTE to the US economy. Cutting taxes, ballooning both the deficit and the debt.

Growth and unemployment slowed, serious racial unrest went unchecked - because it helped his re-election chances, and a deadly virus was ignored as Trump told the states to deal with it, and promised voters that "one day it would all just disappear".

Please tell us what Trump did that benefitted the US people - not the rich people, the majority of Americans - the workers.

I concede this point by OP.

Biden said he would cure cancer.

He said WE will cure cancer, without giving any timeframes.

Thats different from "I will cure cancer" or "my administration will cure cancer".

You can lead a Zelensky to a peace deal, but you can't keep him from being a disrespectful ass and blowing the whole thing up.

Nobody led Zelinsky to a peace deal.

The Russians already told Trump that they weren’t interested.

Trump first tried to bully Zelinsky into giving up 20% of Ukraine in return for nothing.

When that fell flat, he cooked up this scheme to do a mineral grab, also in return for nothing.

Trump had no cards to play.

He said WE will cure cancer, without giving any specific timeframes.

Very different from "I will cure cancer".
You are going semantics with this one?

It was a pathetic election ploy.

You know this. Just like Trump saying he would end the war day 1.

Stop being so ideologically blind.

You are going semantics with this one?

If you want to talk about what someone said it is by definition about semantics.

Biden said that if he is elected we Americans will cure cancer.

Will America cure cancer? Highly likely given enough time. Will his initiatives help? Probably but impossible to say how significantly a this point.

So bottom line - was Biden's promise overly optimistic - probably yes, but it can't be judged false at this point the way many of Trump's come-and-go promises are.

He succeeded there too. Getting more resources targeted toward that goal.

You are all about the HALLMARKS of a Russian fake laptop.

Not that it was.

What if I were to say, “Your posts have all the hallmarks of a pedo.”

You would be cool with it because I did not actually accuse you.

So pathetic. Who do you think this BS works on?

As long as Troll Bot Mucky keeps churning out such low value soppy opinion pieces we can all sleep well, knowing that there are Carers who look after frightened man- children who need reassurance and a pat on the head to keep them calm.

Don't worry Mucky Ducky
Trumpfy will make you Lucky .

Is cancer cured?

My mom had Mohs surgery on her nose last week.

There was a cancer vaccine currently undergoing testing in the midwest - at least it was until DOGE cut all of their funding due to DEI. They were testing a breast cancer vaccine for WOMEN. That was deemed to be DEI.

The Senator from the state - a Republican, begged them to restore the funding for this critical medical research. It hasn't happened.

Since the program had to shut down midway through their medical research trial, they will have to start over with the testing if and when their funding is restored.

Here is Trump's first FAILED promise (likely one of many)

Trump's promise was to end the Ukraine/Russia war within the first 24 HOURS. It has now been 984 hours (41 days) and no deal on the horizon.

To make it fair, Trump has already kept 5 of his 33 promises. Here they are:

1) Reinstate the military's transgender ban
Trump administration policy orders removal of transgender service members, but faces legal challenge | February 28, 2025

2) Designate drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations
State Department designates six cartels and two gangs as foreign terrorist organizations | February 26, 2025

3) Commute the sentence of "Silk Road" website operator Ross Ulbricht
Trump issues pardon for Silk Road dark web marketplace creator Ross Ulbricht | January 23, 2025

4) Leave the Paris climate accord (again)
Trump signs order to leave Paris climate agreement | January 22, 2025

5) Pardon people convicted of crimes related to the storming the Capitol on Jan. 6,
Trump pardons people convicted of Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot offenses | January 20, 2025

Then again, are these 5 kept promises something that is really helpful to the nation or to Americans?

Leaving the Paris climate change accord? Pardon criminals? Reinstate the transgender ban in the military? How does any of that make our lives better?

One negative thing that has happened since Trump took office that affects ALL OF US, and that is that the price of eggs has soared.

So far, Trump has not made our lives any better,

With Joe it was the promises he did not make and signed off on. We got several electric charging stations, several miles of roads redone and a few minor Wi-Fi improvements with trillions and trillions of dollars of Prog Socialist Communist legislation. All of your privileged and cronies got paid off.

Big whoop. He is carrying through on plenty others, and this time he was ready for the obstructionism being thrown at him by Dems, Blue States, and the Civil Service itself.

But he PROMISED to do it in very SPECIFIC ways and Trump supporters were EXPECTING him to fulfill his promises because he is a STRONG man who has specifically stated I ALONE CAN DO IT!!!!

You mean to say that he is actually human but he is a con artist? I mean, after all, he won the election because he promised those things and now he is showing himself to be a liar. After all, he did make these promises, didn't he?

Yes, he's carrying through on his big promises to Putin - destroying NATO, forcing Zelensky to capitulate, ending climate change mitigation. Throwing the US economy into chaos and dysfunction, and seeking retribution against Democrats.

He even cancelled the reduction in the price of insulin.

What about inflation? That's why he was elected. Because of the price of eggs, and gasoline. What's he done to end crime and violence on your streets.

Where are all these deportations he promised? He's deported FEWER people than Obama or Biden?

If Pfizer offered you a cancer vaccine, would you take it?
