I don't think anyone gets checks anymore. It's all direct deposit.

If I didn't get my deposit (which don't actually look for), I would assume that it was a one-time glitch. I would set aside a couple hours and dial up my local SS office to get it sorted.

I have every confidence that would take care of it. Worst case, I would have to go downtown and show my face. I am, by definition, retired, so it wouldn't be a problem.

Retired Americans are the wealthiest demographic. Just sayin'.
