I stopped voting for the two major parties in 2006 and started writing in Snoopy and Pat Paulsen for federal offices.

I made two exceptions. The first was for Ted Cruz in 2016 in honor of my mother who passed a few months before the election. He was her candidate. I'm glad she didn't live to see him become the supplicating Trump weasel he is today.

The second was for the Libertarian candidate in 2020. I decided the Democrats and the Republicans had become so over-the-top batshit insane, they made the propellerhead party look like the most stable people in the room.

I didn't even bother filling out a ballot in 2024.

I also kept my ballot in 2008 as it will surely be a collector's item one day.

Biden proposed a tax cut for those under $400k and not for people making more. He lost the election so we will never know how it is going. Not sure what you are looking for there.

I can point out the bills that Congress passed to ban funds to transfer prisoners out of Gitmo that Obama refused to illegally ignore. Had Obama known congressional spending bills were optional (see Trump’s actions) it would have been closed. You can’t point to anything that Trump is trying to do to lower the prices that the Democrats are blocking.

He promised that in 2020 and he won and taxes went up, he did not do what he promised, just like Trump. Again Biden did not keep his campaign promise and neither did Obama and Obama had the House and a Senate that for his first two years. He like Trump should not promise things he cannot deliver. But it suckers people into voting for them.
