Trump's 93 Campaign Promises - Which Will He Keep?

The first two years was a democratic congress and the deficit was cut twice. Now it’s growing at a lower rate than it grew under Trump. Your turn.
Trumps actual numbers were much lower than Biden's.

So your so called cut is a reduction in rate.

Facts:

San's covid (where Biden took a huge hit also), Trump barely made it to a Trillion his last year.

Biden's lowest deficit is still a half a trillion higher than Trumps. And this in his "booming economy".

Each year, Biden has increased his deficit.

This year he is approaching Trumps Covid numbers.

So, your claim of a cut (in rate) is meaningless. Not hard to cut the rate when it was astronomical to begin with.

If you didnt believe he would do what he said then why vote for him?

Because I believe he won't do those things.

I also believe that Harris (and her puppet masters) would try to do the things she said.

They were unAmerican and bad for the country.

Trump, on video, made 93 campaign promises. I'll get them all in here (click the link if you want to look ahead) but here are the first 12. Which one's will he come through on?

Critics are putting President-elect Donald Trump on blast after a key adviser appeared to back away from a major campaign promise.
Trump has repeatedly claimed he would end the war between Russia and Ukraine within 24 hours of taking office or even sooner.

He also backtracked on bringing prices down.

And his tariffs

Running all the illegals out. He won't.

Trump will keep ALL his promises!

He can't. If he does, our economy will be in shambles. For example

Republicans’ plan to extend and expand the massive tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations they originally passed in 2017 are at the heart of President-elect Donald Trump’s domestic agenda.
But one of the sleepiest corners of Wall Street is flashing warning signs about the GOP’s plans: the bond market.

The Federal Reserve has been cutting the interest rates it controls, which usually results in lower market rates for loans, mortgages and credit cards. But investors holding U.S. debt have demanded increasingly higher returns on their investments, which has kept the Fed’s actions from having much effect and mortgage and credit card rates stubbornly high.
“The bond market is sending a message that investors are worried about the economic policies dead ahead,” Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody’s Analytics, told HuffPost.

The rate for a 10-year U.S. bond, the benchmark many interest rates are based on, has drifted upward significantly since Nov. 5, when Donald Trump was elected to his second term, from around 4.29% to 4.76%.

And it’s not alone. The 20-year bond yield has risen from 4.57% to 5.03% and the 30-year bond has gone from 4.45% to 4.95%.
These rates have steadily increased even though the Federal Reserve has cut interest three times since September, and even as shorter-term debt rates have been stable.
Stocks generally grow in value as the economy moves faster, but bond values are tied to inflation. Higher inflation, usually accompanied by faster economic growth, makes bonds worth less, while lower inflation increases their value. So while stocks initially rose for the first few weeks after Trump’s election victory, on hopes for better economic growth, bond values went the other direction, because many of the policies Trump has said he’ll pursue will likely drive inflation up, too.

For example, stricter immigration controls or mass deportations could increase businesses’ labor costs. And tax cuts would increase budget deficits and boost the amount of debt issued by the government, making existing debt less valuable.

Link saying there will be cuts to SS.
If they raise the retirement ages 1-year because people are living longer, I'd say that is okay and NOT a cut.

You guys are too funny. First, if Trump doesn't accomplish his campaign promises, then that is someone you should be voting for because you didn't like his campaign promises anyway. Second, you're doing this to try and get Republican voters not to vote Republican next time around. Do you really think that you can get conservative MAGA's to vote Democrat next time? Really?

Republicans’ plan to extend and expand the massive tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations

When you tax the shit out of corp's...those corp's raise their prices ON YOU AND I to pay those taxes!

Holy shit you are stupid!

You probably STILL vote for people who scream "TAX THE CORPORATION" don't you?

Yesterday, Social Security Works Executive Director Alex Lawson approached Members of Congress as they entered and exited the first meeting of the House DOGE Caucus. The following is a statement from Lawson:

“During the presidential election, Donald Trump’s campaign blanketed millions of households with flyers promising to protect Social Security and Medicare. I showed every member of the DOGE Caucus those flyers, and asked them a simple question: Do you intend to keep that promise?

One, Rep. Greg Lopez, told me forthrightly that ‘there will be some cuts’ to Social Security. Another, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, ripped the Trump mailers out of my hands and threw them on the floor in disgust. Most of the others refused to answer the question and slammed the door in my face.

Not necessarily dummy. Maybe they can't raise the price any more than they already have. Maybe people won't buy it. Maybe instead of passing it on to you and me it'll mean less profit for shareholders. A smaller bonus for executives (who's pay is already obscene) or smaller raises. Maybe it means they don't fix up their place this year they'll wait a couple years.

You seem to think taxing corporations just automatically raises your prices. Because you are simple. Slow. Stupid. Dull.

Corporations aren't overtaxed. Know how I know? I see their profits. I see how much their top employees make.

I'm not over taxed. I made just under $100K. Single income, no kids. No wife at home to afford. If I had one I'd be a DINK not a SINK. But bottom line is I'm able to save enough for retirement and have all the things I want. So if you ask me, people who make 6 figures are not over taxed. Unless they are a duel income with kids.

So who is overtaxed? Lower class and lower middle class people. Even middle class people with kids.

Now, I could tell you that it's their fault for having kids they can't afford but we do want people to have kids, right? So then we need to redo our tax system and give tax breaks to people who need tax breaks. Not Trump, Musk or me. Not Amazon. Not Tesla.

I bet you believe when Trump gives Elon a tax break Elon turns around and gives you a break on his car. How dumb are you to believe that?

Remember this?

Criticized for golfing twice on a Memorial Day weekend during which the US coronavirus death toll approached 100,000, President Donald Trump responded Sunday and Monday by drawing attention, again, to former President Barack Obama’s golfing.

Trump denounced the media, which he called “sick with hatred and dishonesty,” for supposedly failing to mention that Saturday was his first time golfing in three months. (CNN, among other outlets, did note that it was his first golf outing since March 8.) Trump also accused the media of failing to talk about “all of the time Obama spent on the golf course, often flying to Hawaii in a big, fully loaded 747, to play. What did that do to the so-called Carbon Footprint?”

“Barack was always playing golf,” he said in one of his five golf-related tweets.

Obama played 98 rounds of golf through this point in his presidency, according to data provided to CNN by Mark Knoller, a veteran CBS News White House correspondent who is known for tracking presidential activities. By contrast, Knoller said, Trump has spent all or part of 248 days at a golf course.

CNN’s own count has Trump at 266 days spending some time at a Trump golf course.

Since Trump and his aides often refuse to confirm that he actually played golf during a visit to a golf club, even when he has been spotted in golf attire, it is not possible to definitively say how many times Trump has golfed as President. And some of Trump’s rounds, like when he plays with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, mix leisure with official business.

Regardless, it is clear that Trump has spent more time golfing than Obama. And Trump’s own golf-related “carbon footprint” has been bigger than Obama’s even if you count only air travel.

Just what I thought. A thread remarking that biden spent 570 days, or nearly 40% of his presidency, on vacation was deleted. The reason for deletion was “factually incorrect.

Former President Donald Trump spent a little over a quarter of his presidency, around 380 of his 1,461 days in office on personal trips.

Trump's time out of office earned a of media attention because he spent most of his time away, around 250 days, at properties he owned -- and would therefore financially benefit from by his presence -- during his presidency.

Jimmy Carter, known as a workhorse, spent only 79 days day off during his four years as president.

Barack Obama took 328 days off during his eight years in office, and George W. Bush took 1,020 days off in eight years.
