One other potential "deal" Trump can make with democrats is for a "payroll tax holiday" for a few months.
Democrats and Republicans in Congress do NOT want a payroll tax holiday because they fund SS and Medicare.

But SS and Medicare are going bankrupt, Medicare in 2026, and SS in 2037.

So a win-win deal is: Agree on the well publicized "fixes" for SS & Medicare, and in return get a temporary payroll tax holiday.
