Trump sacks border chief after fatal ICE shootings
Donald Trump has sacked the border patrol chief leading his immigration raids across the country after the fatal shooting of a nurse in Minneapolis, according to sources.
Just like how Trump was going to take Greenland, then claimed a deal had been reached to reach a deal on Greenland that was what already existed, he backtracked without saying he was wrong.
Now,
"Trump sacks border chief after fatal ICE shootings"
"Gregory Bovino was removed from his role as “Commander at Large” of Border Patrol and is expected to retire soon, the Atlantic reported."
"The removal of Mr Bovino, who has been the face of Mr Trump’s mass deportation campaign, is a signal that the US president is rethinking his administration’s most aggressive tactics."
Has Trump admitted that murdering US citizens, then lying your face off about it, is the wrong approach to deal with illegal immigrants? Is having an over aggressive ICE, with poorly trained people, now the wrong approach?
We'll see and we can hope. But As with anything Trump, he can change his mind in a heartbeat.
