I think we can say with very high confidence that Trump has absolutely zero prospect of doing a mass deportation of 11 million people. But - since we know he's a slime ball - we can assume that he will make some token and very public effort to do something, anything.

He will maybe build a few new holding facilities and perhaps fill that and make a big fuss about it. Then have the cameras there as they bus or fly people out and that'll be it, it will just fizzle out and be forgotten about and no doubt throw in some blame of the "dems" for obstructing it, the usual bullshit.

The when sane people call out the MAGATS and ask where this mass deportation then? we'll get bullshit from them too, all very foreseeable.

1 bus ticket on Greyhound from NYC to El Paso is $161.99. 50 people can fit on one bus comfortably. That costs $8099.50. I am sure the federal government would be able to negotiate a cheaper rate for many trips. In 2023, NYC spend 1.45 billion on food, housing and services for 175,000 immigrants. That is $8285 per immigrant for the year or about $700/mth on average. Each bus load would save NYC $406,000/yr or $33,845/mth or about $1,120/day.

I'll let you do the math on how many buses could leave per week and how much money would be saved.

That would be for deporting the last of the illegals to arrive. There are about 500,000 illegals currently in NYC.
So the cost to deport them would be eat up any savings.
Not to mention the hole left in the economy from the illegals currently working, as opposed to the latest immigrants, who don't have jobs.
