This is a tough situation, but the Oval Office decision-making process is worrisome. Our credibility is shattered as it is, and if the TACO label sticks, our enemies will perceive it as an open door. I'm all for giving Iran one last chance. President Trump would rather victory through diplomacy than victory via deadly violence.

But sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, not matter how distasteful.

My chickens get sick, I try to nurse them back to health. It would be easier and cheaper to kill them. But I want them to live.

But eventually I may have to kill them, cut their heads off, to reduce their suffering. I hate it. But it's the right thing to do.

Sometimes you have to undertake distasteful actions to diminish future suffering. You do all you can to avoid it, but eventually there is a tipping point.

President Trump is giving Iran's leadership every opportunity to change their path. But there will be a tipping point where the threat of a group that has promised for 45 years Death to America and believing the murder of the most infidels guarantees them rewards in heaven will produce a nuclear weapon.

No sane person would give 50% odds that Iran wouldn't use that weapon against millions.

That's the future suffering that needs to be derailed now.

That's my opinion. Give them every opportunity to change course, but if Iran won't agree to abandon their nuclear ambitions , do what you gotta do. Make them start over again.
