wIt actually be more like Guam. The fact is, decades of promises and promises broken. We are done with it. It's over. And, a large deployment of troops? LOL!!! The U.S. from one side and Israel from another, it's over in days. First, we have to move the population out. Then, go in and kill the rest of Hamas. Hezbollah if necessary. We are done with them. The PLO then Hamas, we are done.

Now, you are redefining "ethnic cleansing." The Holocaust is the only form of ethnic cleansing. The fact is, there is no other way to rebuild the Gaza. The people have to leave and get out of the way. It has to be cleaned up completely from the destruction before any building goes on. You might not be aware that there is no running water or commerce with food. They cannot stay there where pollution is mostly deadly. Get the people out, clean it up, and then rebuild.
It's easy to say move them out, but where are you going to put them? The Arab nations don't want them and the Palestinians, since birth have been fed the Quran and to hate Jews as well as other non-believers.

The surrounding Arab nations are likely fine with this. It would solve the problem of what to do with the Islamic terrorists parading around as Pal’istanians.

Not much of a benefit for the US.
I agree. Imo this is classic Trump. Go in with an ultra-strong position to get the talks going. I could see a coalition of rich Gulf States funding a new nation state for Palestinians.

You keep trying to invent problems that aren't there. President Trump's proposal is the only one that will end the conflict in Gaza permanently. The Congress and the American people will support it.

The Palestinians who will be applying to emigrate will apply to the host countries and individuals, so they won't have to accept Hamas.

The war will soon resume, the borders will be sealed and the tunnels destroyed and with the skies over Gaza thick with Israeli drones, so as the population thins, those who stay and fight will easily be hunted down and killed.

There will be no reconstruction until the conflict is permanently over and then private investors will fund the construction of the new Gaza, so what Qatar or the Saudis say is irrelevant.

Just the opposite is true. If Trump can end the conflict in Gaza, it will be a big plus for the Republicans in 2028.
1. Trump can't end the conflict, there are 2,000,000 Gazans who are Hamas supporters. Don't you remember "from the river to the sea Palestine will be free"? Congress and the voters will oppose a US takeover of Gaza. Trump got elected on America First.

2. What part of THERE ARE NO HOST COUNTRIES do you not understand?

3. The IDF can't defeat Hamas or they would have done it by now. Fighting in Gaza is like fighting in Stalingrad.

4. The conflict will never be over, there are no private investors. Gaza is not a US problem, let the Arabs deal with Gaza.

Trump says "U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip". Do you support Trump on this?

I find it hilarious that 12 of you voted no on something you don't even know anything about yet on something Trump never said.
Trump did not say he is taking over Gaza, Trump said the USA would take ownership of the land and oversee it completely cleared up of rubble, mines and such, but he did not say he would be doing it with US equipment, crews or money. He implied it would be done through an international coalition of countries with the US merely directing the activity.

You could at least contain your hysteria until the plans are worked out, a deal is reached and approved and the actual facts announced.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the interest in that land..... (the last tweet below)

haven't decided .. need more info on how this could be achieved .. hopefully Trump is being Trump and attempting to goad neighboring countries in the middle east to take a bigger hand in rebuilding to keep the US from taking control of GAZA .. i'm not in favor of more US involvement in the ME .. support defending Israel and stopping terrorists while preventing Iran from getting nukes is what I support ..

^^^^^^^Someone with a brain.^^^^^^^

Trump says "U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip". Do you support Trump on this?

Yes or No?

Obviously No!
I support him doing exactly what he is doing, instilling fear on both Hamas and the Palestinians in order to bring peace to the Middle East. He's not going to to take over Gaza, he just wants the fools to think he is and it's working.

I'm sort of waiting to see if the region warms to the idea.....If not then I guess the IDF will continue killing the Palis off in wholesale lots.

Trump does have an ace up his sleeve.....No US rebuilding funds, let the Arabs pay for it.

Every president without exception dreams of solving the Palestinian problem

None have succeeded and none ever will

Then why doYou Trumpsters heer loudly for remaining on the oil tit?

Repeating this nonsense won't make it true. A third of the Gazans wanted to leave before the war, and most Gazans will want to leave now, and most countries will be willing to take in some Gazans. Once the war resumes and the tunnels are destroyed and there is no reconstruction, Gazans will be lining up to leave and Hamas will have no place to hide their weapons or their fighters and be reduced to small gangs of terrorists that can be handled by the police, just as the gangs in New York and London are handled by the police.

I hope you are right

1. Your position is that the US military will forcibly remove 2,000,000 Palestinians from Gaza

2. Place them all in detention camps throughout the ME, in countries who refuse to accept them

3. Then private investors, primarily rich Jews or funds controlled by Jews will pay (Trump?) to buy Gaza properties "as-is"

4. Then fund the demolition of Gaza rubble, for the removal of unexploded ordinance, and then pay for the construction of a new Paradise Gaza where the world's wealthy will come to live and play?

what could go wrong?
Oh lots can go wrong including the WORST possible outcome; leaving Hamas to regroup. That COULD happen but far more likely is

in yer wet wild dreams.

The United States did not ship the Japanese off of Japan when the United States helped rebuild the country after World War II. Same with Germany.

A section of the GAZA Strip can be worked on, while the people continue to live in other areas. Once that section is rebuilt, then people can come back. Continue that process all down the strip. No need to ship them anywhere when no one wants them, and they don't want to leave.
Live their lives with what? There is no running water. Disease is going to set in shortly. They have to go. And, here is the thing. Israel and Trump don't want to do a two state solution anymore. After October 7th, that all ended. And, people did have to move out of areas of Japan so that it could be torn down and rebuilt. Same with many places in Europe. They had to move where there is running water and somewhere to live safely. Of course, you want Palestinians to live in squaller for years while they rebuild around them and then chase them out. It's over. The terrorist party of decades is over.
