Why we don’t listen to ConservatIves about COVID

Wrong.
I am more of a progressive liberal than anyone on this whole board.
It simply is scientific fact.
Nothing political involved.
The way all epidemics in all history have ended by herd immunity, and instead of flattening the curve to prevent herd immunity, we could have accelerated it with variolation, to achieve the end of the epidemic in March, with fewer than 10,000 deaths.
That is pretty much indisputable.
There is nothing particularly deadly or infectious about covid-19.
It has an R0 of only around 2, and a lethality of only around 0.15%.
And we also know that intuitively from the fact after 10 months, we only have 250 thousand deaths out of 330 million, for a death risk of only 0.06%.
