The other real game changer with deep seek is less energy consumption which makes it the bully on the block right now. Everything we're getting into is an energy consumer unlike anything we've ever seen before including cryptocurrency. We will need roughly twice the amount of power we're producing now in less than 10 years. With that type of demand on the horizon an efficient AI program that also saves on electricity is going to be very goddamn hard to beat.

I suspect they will be much more screaming up north in Canada and down south in Mexico and they will be here in the continental US.
