Trump Versus Our Oldest Enemy

More recent scientists are not immune. The CEI report cites Dr. David Viner, a climate researcher at the University of East Anglia, who in 2000 predicted snowfall would soon become "a very rare and exciting event. … Children just aren't going to know what snow is." In 2008, one NASA scientist told Congress to expect all arctic ice to melt by 2018; that same year, Al Gore predicted it would vanish by 2013. As recently as 2014, the French foreign minister claimed the planet had just "500 days" before climate catastrophe."
Five Decades of Wrong Predictions About the Environmental Apocalypse

Does it still snow where you are?

If it does....who ya' gonna believe, the Democrats or your lying eyes?????
It snowed a little bit last year. Before that it had not snowed for four years.

Did you go to government school?

Celebrate Gaia, and Earth Day?

Get your news from CNN and MS-13NBC?
I attended public schools, and one private school. I do not celebrate Gaia and Earth day. I get my news from many sources, including CNN and MSNBC.

And yet you still make poor choices and decisions on public policy.

Go figure.

Let's check: who'd you vote for?
I was really voting against Trump because of his tax cuts for the rich, and his poor environmental record. Trump has the vocabulary of a fourth grader, the personality of a spoiled child, the intellect of a high school dropout, and the character of a juvenile delinquent. I like Joe Biden, but I think that soon after he defeated Trump in 2020, he should have announced that he would not run again. That would have opened the 2024 primary to a better candidate than Kamala Harris. .

I disliked Kamala Harris because in a 2020 primary debate she condemned Biden for opposing forced school busing in 1973, Busing was a terrible policy. I wanted Biden to say, "Yes I opposed busing in 1973, and I still do." Instead, he wilted. but in 2024 I voted for Harris.

The Democrat Party that I really like is the one that existed from 1933 to 1963. I think the civil rights legislation and the War on Poverty were well intended mistakes.

The glaring error in your well-sourced post is the underlying idea that there is a 'rich' class in this nation.
No such class exists in an ongoing basis...merely as a snapshot in time.

"For starters, the whole "tax cuts for the rich" thing is objectively false. Republicans have actually been (against their better judgment, in my opinion) considering tax increases for the rich. Further, the original Trump tax cuts gave over 80 percent of Americans a cut, and the other 20 percent essentially pay no federal income taxes anyway. Making those rates permanent is not a "tax cut for the rich,"..."

Any tax cuts during a time of massive deficits are fiscally irresponsible. When the top tax rate never got below 70% and was often much higher the national debt was under control.

There was no tax on Americans greater than Biden's 30% inflation and doubling of gas prices.

You voted for it.

You voted for it.

When the rich were taken to the cleaners on tax day, as I want them to be, the national debt was under control.
Clear that you are clueless on economics and the history of the National Debt. Nor do you understand the Federal Deficit component either.

Larger issue is your personal greed in wanting to "kill goose that lays the golden egg" as in major source of investments and capital for growing the wealth creation part of the economy.

Your failed concept of wealth redistribution always fails because of running out of wealth to grab and give away.

There is no perpetual group known as "the rich," that is one of those divide and conquer lies told by the Democrats to manipulate you......seems it worked.

  1. The data also show downward mobility among the highest income earners. The top 1% in 1996 saw an average decline in their real, after-tax incomes by 52% in the next 10 years.
America is still an opportunity society where talent and hard work can (almost always) overcome one's position at birth or at any point in time. Perhaps the best piece of news in this regard is the reduction in gaps between earnings of men and women, and between blacks and whites over the last 25 years.

  2. 2. There's a lot of income mobility in America, so comparing poor families today with the poor families of 10 years ago can be misleading because they're not the same families. Every year hundreds of thousands of new immigrants and the young enter the workforce at "poor" income levels. But the CBO study found that, with the exception of chronically poor families who have no breadwinner, low-income job holders are climbing the income ladder.

Let me provide one simple bromide for you to memorize that will aid to your understanding:

.....a simple rule that will clarify the current milieu:

Any article, event, opinion, data or study that redounds in favor of the Left/Demorat Party, is to be considered a lie or hoax.

Begin with that rule and you will never go wrong.
