Iran has seen USA fail in resolve but this time they will experience different and the world gets cleaned up big time
How can the USA do anything with resolve when we are so (deliberately) divided?

If they had that capability they would have done it already.
Not necessarily. What is more important, Russia's and China's weapons need time to be delivered.

As far as it takes, our ladder is much bigger than Iran's ladder.
But lesser than Russia's one.

Not happening.
Ok. What about Iran lays few nukes across Israel?

Don't confuse Iran's military with the IRGC. The IRGC is like Hitler's SS, the regular Army might be with the people.

The US has "allies" in the Iran war, the Gulf states and the Kurds.

There won't be a year of fighting. Once we take Kharg island Iran has no money.

If Hormuz isn't opened tomorrow Iran's powerplants get destroyed, without power Iran has no water...

Don't confuse MAGA with America First, they're black and white

Iran's plan was obvious.

They were targeting everyone else's oil production while trying to block the Strait.

That would drop everyone else's production and increased need and demand for their own.

Taking out Iran's production will 100% change their thinking on that!

Come on Trump!

Finish the mission.

Free Iran!

Evidently Trump & Hegseth are the only people on the planet who didn't know that Iran has said they'd close the Strait in this situation for the last four decades or so.

Maybe they shouldn't have fired everyone in the Pentagon and State if they didn't wear the red cap.
We're clearly running with the B team.

There's another deadline in play.

The economy has a Strait of Hormuz deadline for Trump: Two weeks

With oil prices at levels not seen in years and global business supply chains across sectors of the economy shut down by the de facto closure of the Strait of Hormuz, faith in the C-suite that the worst isn’t yet to come is being tested. On Friday, United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby said he is planning for $175 oil, and for an oil price that remains above $100 through 2027. This forecast, he said, may not come to pass, but the airline CEO added that there is every reason to at least start planning for it as a potential reality.

Corporate executives have become accustomed in recent years to a world in which it is one new form of uncertainty after another. But the potential ramifications of the U.S.-Iran war, for which President Donald Trump has continued to offer uncertain timelines for ending, has the market and many inside the C-suite on edge. The Nasdaq entered a correction on Friday, a fourth consecutive negative week for the stock market, and it is not just risk-on assets but safe havens such as gold and bonds that are falling.

Now we're getting somewhere:

'Open Hormuz Or Will Destroy Power Plants': Trump Warns Iran, Tehran Responds

I fully support this ultimatum. Get that oil moving!!
Support or not this is going nowhere

more Trump bloviating bs

It sure is too bad our economy is so affected by the global price of oil.

Too bad there are no other ideas for power out there. Too bad we don't have an entire industry working hard to improve that. Too bad any other energy ideas besides oil and dirty energy are summarily dismissed, attacked and mocked for entirely ignorant, ideological reasons.
