It was people like you who dictated what the team should be called. Most Indigenous Americans who you pushed for them to be called instead of Indians, do not care. The Redskin brand is iconic. Or was iconic. I remember an African American sports commentator wearing a White skins shirt as to get on the Caucasians. Maybe whites should start purchasing those shirts and wearing them as saying who gives a shit?

Actually, there were facts presented at the time that that was exactly the case. Most Native American football fans had no problem with the team name. As always, it is activist white people who tell minorities what should offfend them. Same with Confederate monuments. Most blacks polled didn't care about Confederate monuments one way or the other. It was white activists who told them they should be offended.

Having said that, I can actually see how the name Redskins is a little on the offensive side but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the name Cleveland Indians and I'm glad the Atlanta Braves couldn't be forced into change their name because that isn't offensive either.

I was never a huge baseball fan anyway but when they renamed the Indians that was it for MLB for me.

Sigh, at least I have memories.

Since then they have continued with orange man bad and now their approval numbers are down to 20%, which basically means democrats don't have a party. So, I guess you are right.
