Worse still, is that he is keying his dictatorial attempts on Democratic led cities and states and not where crime is going up, which is actually in red cities and red states. His lies about trying to bring down crime, is simply political conning. Chart below shows exactly what is happening.

In 30 of the biggest cities, in 25 of them, crime is down and in the five where crime has increased, 3 of them are red cities, and the top two being in Texas and in Ft Worth, it has gone up 133%. Trump has not mentioned that city at all. I wonder why?
