You look around; you take it in. The world is as it is with or without you. Those who read this are in a particular dimension of time and space. We share this time and space, and our sense of kinship is accepted if not well understood. The split in perception is problematic but not insurmountable. Gene Roddenberry explored this as a screenwriter for Star Trek. Spock and Kirk were opposites, yet they were bookends that made them part of an important whole. Kirk was emotional and quick to act; Spock was reserved, logical, and subdued. They made it work because they knew their limits and realized one could compensate for the other. It was very much like a marriage with each switching roles when necessary. Those original Star Treks were so much more than they appeared; way ahead of their time.

Television is still powerful; it puts us in touch with complex issues and entertains us along the way. We know a lot of television is garbage, there to make money, but it can sneak legitimate teaching into the mix. There is no modern teaching equivalent that can equal television; the big screen still rules. There is little doubt that Trump owns television despite abrasive television media. He is a master of turning those cameras around on his critics. They have no answer to it.

Trump, like Kirk, has taken the reigns. Trump has the hearts of the crew on his side so he can steer the ship where he wants it to go. He knows the odds; he is making a judgement call with Iran.

I’m throwing in with Kirk.

Heart of the crew, my ass! Most American disapprove his performance, his tactics, his veracity, his moral outlook, is anti-Constitution mode of operation, his apparent desire to rule as singular top-down ruler over all three branches of government, the states and the people of the United States or any other country, he sets his sights on, for whatever reason, or flimsy excuse he puts out. Most Americans disapprove of him starting the war of choice in Iran, as it was not necessary. We Americans are the "crew". We do not approve and would most likely support his being relieved of command. He is supported and approved by only the minority MAGA drones and those that have benefitted financially, which, of course, does not include the middle class.

Propaganda is what it is. Recognizing it is the hard part. A nuclear armed Iran? I think Trump chose his war wisely.

They are not Nuclear armed.
Trump swore he had obliterated the underground sites, where enrichment was taking place.
His own Secretary of State (cleared for all pertinent intel) said they were not enriching.
They also have no delivery system.
You propose to justify, striking now?
It is an expensive sideshow, to support Israel, and divert attention from Epstein files, immigration, domestic economics, and his general performance in office and that of his administration.

They are not Nuclear armed.
That is their undeniable goal.

He did.

Link?
They also have no delivery system.
Missiles don't count?

You propose to wait until they obtain a nuclear weapon?

Not an Imminent Threat.

They have material for 11 atomic bombs.

Trump swore he had obliterated the underground sites, where enrichment was taking place.
Trump said he damaged the main enrichment facility to where it was no longer operable. It is badly damaged but still there.

His own Secretary of State (cleared for all pertinent intel) said they were not enriching.
Bull.

They also have no delivery system.
Of course they do. They can sell the fuel or put it in any dirty bomb to be carried into any US city.

At least TRY not to be 100% wrong ALL of the time.

No. They do not. There is nobody on the entire planet that says the even had uranium processed greater than 60%, though to make even one bomb requires 90% or greater enrichment, plus a delivery capability, neither of which it possessed or had ever tested. Not and imminent threat.

Well, besides from not understanding anything about nuclear bomb design nor fissile material, you just called me a liar for reporting to you the reports from experts in the matter. You are still 1 for 1.

Your experts are shit. You cannot reach nuclear detonation at 60% enrichment level. Look it up, for christ's sake.

Yet he won by the EC and the popular vote.

HUH.

Oh well then we should have just ignored Iran forever like your leftist Democrats did until they achieved that 90% enrichment level, right?
:icon_rolleyes:

Your TDS rants are getting comical. Check in at your local mental health facility. Let me know if you need a ride but it will have to be next week as I went to Florida.

HUH.
That was then. This is now. Sometimes wanting something is more satisfying than having something, once you get it.

Enjoy Florida! I usually do.

Wow that's so pathetic

Got a link? Make it easier?
Highly enriched uranium (HEU) is anything enriched above 20% and weapon-grade uranium is commonly considered to have been enriched above 90% U-235. However, some research reactors use 90% enriched U-235 to produce medical isotopes, so there are civilian applications for this fuel too.
