I suspect Trump will start with perfectly correlated reciprocal tariffs against allies that way no one will have the capacity to complain and even media and powerful business interests wont be able to prusuade Americans,. I can't argue with any of it. And if Elon Musk and his team keep finding ways to reduce unnecessary, ineffective, inefficient, unjustifiable government spending, I am guessing a GOP controlled Congress will go along with most or all of it.

Why shouldn’t I be able to deduct from my federal taxes at least a chunk of what I am forced to spend on state taxes?

The very first thing I love about it is that Democrats claim they are for the poor and the middle class and attack Trump and his 2017 tax cuts as "only benefitting the wealthy" and yet raising the cap doesn't benefit the poor at all. It only benefits the richer. Why would democrats support that? They are two faced hypocrites.


Second, we need to show residents in those high taxed blue states that if they want to live there, then they should pay the state's high tax rates instead of the federal government subsidizing them. Ever since 2017 these high taxed blue states have been hemorrhaging residents and billions of dollars in tax revenue, causing blue states and blue cities to implode and turn more red. And, when you think about it, the federal government is, in effect, using federal government revenue to pay for woke progressive policies in blue states.
