The economy will go one way or the other. Vote for Trump Great economy vote for Harris bad economy.

Nice try!

Stop trolling

Kamala Harris’s corporate-tax plan could cut S&P 500 earnings by 5%: Goldman Sachs

Plus you’re schilling for a party that has radical racist views on race and gender… that has provided over an astronomical increase in home prices, and cost of living in this country.

You'll forgive me if I just don't care about the S&P.

The stock market is not the economy.

The economy is the homeless senior citizen fishing for bottles in the trash can right around the first of the month.

The economy is the skilled middle class worker who has to live four in a room because there aren't any jobs.

Investors can suffer for a while, that's okay.

We need to return money to the middle. Working people have to be able to make a living.

There`s nothing nice about it. They`re going to get a beat down and even Putin can`t help them. Hopefully, the police will leave a lot of Ashley Babbits laying in the streets for their next attempt to steal the Presidency by force. Stewart ( I shot my eye out) Rhodes will have more people joining him in the slammer for the next 18 years.

You're reality is not the real reality.

I mean your sentiment is nice and all but it isn't the truth. The truth is the economy is what the bankers say it is and without a total collapse and strong, brave, patriotic men and women to rebuild it won't ever return to the working man.

The stock market is just fluff anyway the real economy is based off the bond and debt market. That's why they speak very little of them because when our economy falls apart it will start there.

The stock market is just a bit flashy things with numbers and arrows they can tout to the common man to make him feel good. That's why the stock market is manipulated by the federal government. They even created the plunge protection team to keep it afloat.

It began as a noble idea but has been turned into a tool of the government at the disposal of large companies and the world banks.

Hey Jackson. Maybe you should stick to your Indian Removal Policies. Economics is not you best game

We got multiple news agencies reporting the issue. Your trolling as usual

Under Biden prices have catapulted. You guys never talk about this. It’s never anything of substance or even an attempt to say well maybe within two or three years under a Democrat things will improve.

Now all that you have to do is explain how that will help working and middle class families who don't own stock. Oh, never mind, I forgot. You people don't give a **** about them

Listen Jackson, all you want to do is slam Biden because of inflation. What YOU never want to talk about is WHY we have had inflation, because if we did have that discussion, it would undermine your position that Biden is to blame. Now THAT would be a substantive conversation.

If you can’t talk intelligently about the economy, you might want to start a thread about your apparent support of the Trail of Tears president and his Indian removal policy

Causes of Inflation

Roosevelt Institute - The Causes of and Responses to Today’s Inflation

The evidence is overwhelming: were there no supply problems, aggregate demand would not be excessive. The inflation we’ve experienced is best understood as resulting from industry-specific problems that many Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries are facing. A strong labor market is part of the solution, not the problem.

Over the last couple years, the world has experienced the highest levels of inflation in more than four decades. There are multiple sources of economic disruption that have likely contributed to this inflation, most notably pandemic shutdowns and reopening and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Our analysis concludes that today’s inflation is largely driven by supply shocks and sectoral demand shifts, not by excess aggregate demand.

Monetary policy, then, is too blunt an instrument because it will greatly reduce inflation only at the cost of unnecessarily high unemployment, with severe adverse distributive consequences. This paper presents a variety of fiscal and other policy measures that hold out the prospect of having a more significant effect on inflation.

Breaking down inflation by sector reveals that it is tied to the obvious shocks and supply chain interruptions the economy has experienced, from high food and energy prices to the shortage of microchips for automobiles.

But there is even more to high prices…It’s not just inflation as defined above

The Truth About Inflation — Inequality Media with Robert Reich

The underlying problem is not inflation. It’s corporate power. The entire American economy is concentrated into the hands of a few greedy, corporate giants with the power to raise prices.

Now, prices are undeniably rising.

In response, the Fed is about to slow the economy — even though we’re still at least 4 million jobs short of where we were before the pandemic, and millions of American workers won’t get the raises they deserve.

Republicans haven’t wasted any time hammering Biden and Democratic lawmakers about inflation.

Everybody’s ignoring the deeper structural reason for price increases: the concentration of the American economy into the hands of a few corporate giants with the power to raise prices.

If the market were actually competitive, corporations would keep their prices as low as possible as they competed for customers.

Inflation and housing.

Historically, the price of existing homes has outpaced inflation while the cost of rentals is more closely tied to the inflation rate. There is another important difference between the cost of consumer goods and that of buying a home. Virtually all commodities other than a home are consumed and must be replaced. A home is an investment that appreciates. While the cost of buying a home is prohibitive for some, it creates wealth for others, which in turn meansmore money in the economy

Is There a Correlation Between Inflation and Home Prices?

  • Factors That Have Led to Increases in House Prices
  • A variety of factors influence housing prices. No single factor is the sole cause of rising costs.
  • Supply and demand is one of the key factors. There is a finite amount of space to build housing, yet the population of the United States has grown significantly over the past century.
Other influences include a low supply of affordable housing and zoning regulations that make constructing new housing, especially high-density housing difficult.

The pandemic has also played a role, boosting the prices of commodities, including those used in home construction. For example, lumber rose in price by 114% between May 2020 and May 2021. Rising demand for space to work at home and growing interest in moving from cities to suburbs also created higher churn levels, which can boost housing prices.2

Andrew Jackson was no better or worse compared to the Indian, Jew, African of his time. He also adopted two Native American boys into his own family. Stop your trolling. Jackson is responsible for expanding our country and you owe him a debt of gratitude. All American citizens do. Your being one sided toward one of your own countrymen of history

No Biden continued inflation policies like printing trillions of dollar he did a lot more of that compared to Trump…, kept on allowing millions of illegal immigrants …he could’ve stopped them both and taken a decisive leadership role on those issues, but he did not.

Under Biden, two new wars started one in Ukraine, one in Israel… which the USA has gotten involved in using taxpayer dollars which is hurting our economy. In response to This your side trolls nonstop. Trump was a much better president with regards to foreign policy and the economy.

Right and I’m sure that you would also claim that slavery was a good opportunity for the negro to learn job skills, that the Civil War was about preserving a culture and not slavery and that there were very fine people on both sided at Unite the Right. Now please get back on topic.

We have established that immigration and the infusion of cash into the economy had minimal effect on inflation while the latter prevented a recession . You continue to ignore the complexities and many causes of world wide inflation and insist on blaming Biden

Under Biden? Biden did not start those wars and is in no way responsible for them. Trump claims -without explanation -that none of that would have happened if he were president- and you people mindlessly believe him

Not just the economy what are you doing supporting a president who supports BLM, believes in white privilege, your Democrat party believes in 100 genders, sex change operations for children…. Believes that America was unique in history that the white man was uniquely racist. Why can’t you have common sense politicians that recognize blacks and whites were equally racist and bigoted throughout history. Very divisive racial politics from Democrats these days.

Yay I know that other Democrats like FDR got us through a terrible economic crisis …. Under Biden, our dollar is worth significantly less compared to under Trump. That’s just the bottom line you can’t get around it. Great leaders led the country and that is not what Biden has been able to do.

And for the people saying a president doesn’t really affect the economy or the market well they of course, can. If they preside over supporting two foreign wars, like the one in Ukraine or Israel that did not exist under Trump, and not to mention the other wars going on in Myanmar and Somalia. Those types of events affect the world economy.

And I will always consider myself a traditional Democrat. It always Harry Truman who said the buck stops here, stop making excuses my friend.

There it is the radical left tactic of telling people how they think. Look at you using the word Negro. What are you doing to yourself my friend. I think all people should be treated equally.

Unite the right rally? How about the hundreds of BLM riots that killed dozens of people cause billions of dollars worth of damage. The far left is the most violent group in modern America.

You’re a hypocrite, the same type of person who brings up slavery but apparently doesn’t care or know that Blacks owned millions of white slaves in Africa.

You have a very hypocritical view of history. Well, that actually might be dangerous. In the sense of you trying to use your own distorted far left view of history to approve of things like reparations or the idea that white are privilege. No sir, please save yourself. Andrew Jackson was a man of his time no different than the Jew, Indian or black of his time.. you’re one-sided here. I’m fair and open-minded.

Today’s Democrats are disgrace to the working class party of the 20th century. Is no longer about helping the middle-class. They want to legalize drugs, talk nonstop about race nonsense. Probably all as a distraction from our bad economy.

Apparently you're not smart enough to realize that I used "negro " to mock you. It is a word that you would use . Admit it.

Bullshit "whataboutism" Always your fall back tactic. An appeal to hypocrisy logical fallacy that does not change or mitigate what happened in Charlotsville.
