Why did not the Progs stop inflation due to their legislation and agendas?Thing is, a lot of people will suffer. A lot of people are on the edge. They might not even have enough for what they've got now. Then anything that includes raw materials from outside of the US will see products go up in price, anything that has parts made abroad will see the price go up.
And then he'll kick out people do low wage jobs, so either people just won't do those jobs, or the wage will go up. Meaning inflation will sky rocket.
Because they were incompetent. They were also trying to hold back wages. Why did not the Progs stop inflation due to their legislation and agendas?

How the hell does that make sense? For the same work and product? Well, great if you want massive unemployment of American citizens. I know I am sure as hell not going to pay someone $45 an hour when I get someone else to do it for $20, would you?I hope americans don't start complaining about labor costs. If a foreign worker is getyingnpaid $20 to assemble an american should get $45 per hour for the same exact work and product. No balking at workers for making that.
Fixed(Providing they have sufficient parts on site)
Tariffs can change that overnight.
“Donald Trump said he'd put in place 25% tariffs on Mexican and Canadian imports upon taking office.
This would push up prices for US-assembled cars by an average of $2,100, according to Wells Fargo.
Mexico's president said her country would retaliate in kind to tariffs, impacting joint ventures.”

Trump tariffs would increase the price of cars made by US automakers by over $2K: Wells Fargo
US car prices would rise by over $2,000 if President-elect Donald Trump pushed ahead with tariffs on Canada and Mexico, Wells Fargo said in a note.www.businessinsider.com
And you voted for Trump because of the price of eggs.
I'm talking having it made overseas vs here. $20 overseas equates to $45 here. I'd happily pay the $46 for it yo be made here. How the hell does that make sense? For the same work and product? Well, great if you want massive unemployment of American citizens. I know I am sure as hell not going to pay someone $45 an hour when I get someone else to do it for $20, would you?
Plants are specialized and tooled to produce a certain model. And it takes a while to re-tool.The automakers who can build cars in America will not get any tariffs.
America can build a LOT of cars....a LOT more than they currently are building.
Most individual car plants can build over 100/hour. (Providing they have sufficient parts on site)
It's an amazing process to watch. Lots of automation and gizmos to ensure all special orders are filled. Each car buck gets that VIN # and is made to order.
Currently most car plants in America slow crawl production to make cars....they can step up production by orders of magnitude and still not reach capacity. The workers here in the USA know they are only making token amounts of cars.
Tariffs can change that overnight.
Cars made in NA. Because parts and components are manufactured in the US, Canada and Mexico.Trump tariffs would increase the price of cars made by US automakers by over $2K: Wells Fargo
Cars made in china by US companies
Trump tariffs would increase the price of imported carsCars made in NA. Because parts and components are manufactured in the US, Canada and Mexico.
You're OK with breaking the trade agreement HE signed with Mexico and Canada?Trump tariffs would increase the price of imported cars
As for parts made overseas tariffs do not have to be one size fits all
We might choose to allow parts made in Taiwan or mexico or canada to come in duty free while putting a 100% tariff on communist chinese auto parts
I just bought a bottle of Crown Royal VO last week and I could have bought premium American sippin whisky for about $15 lessYou're OK with breaking the trade agreement HE signed with Mexico and Canada?
This will be a big FAFO. The price of goods in the US will go up. And Canada will retaliate. Ontario has announced they are ready to cut electricity. Quebec may follow suit. The Premier of Ontario has already directed the LCBO to remove all US booze from the shelves and stop buying if tariffs are imposed. The LCBO is the largest single buyer of alcohol in the world. All alcohol sold in Ontario is sourced through them. Just like that, your booze industry loses a 15m people market.
