Trump Takes Putin's Word Over The US Intelligence Community...Again

Trump certainly acts like a man scared to death that any moment Putin could release incriminating information about him

If Putin gives up on getting the sanctions dropped, he can invoke the MAD strategy. He confesses that russia got Trump elected. The result of that bombshell would be to throw america into complete political turmoil.

Trump certainly acts like a man scared to death that any moment Putin could release incriminating information about him

Putin hasn't found incriminating evidence because democrats are still making it up.

Putin knows what he did, how he did it, and why he did it. He also has something hanging over Trumps head, which is why Trump won't say anything bad about Russia.

I haven't read anything except the O. P.---which is of interest.

Addressing just it, I would like to say that the American People elected Trump last November, in part, because they did not trust the Intelligence Community.

So, now our President, after a year to observe from the inside---doesn't trust them either.

Sounds like the American People were right.

One thing that has astounded me, is not that Brennan and Clapper are liars...THEY ARE......it is how poor they are as liars.. The "tells" when they lie are amazing. Our top two spies, are the shittiest liars ever

Obama corrupted the Justice Department the first day Eric Holder was sworn in...and that disastrous event allowed hm to corrupt all other branches of Government...Lois Lerner at the FBI being a prime example, but James Comey at the FBI being another....and his lying spies in the Intelligence Community being the best example of all.

Even the Miliatary is corrupted with Political Correctness and Generals who got promoted by Obama...not for their ability...but for how diligently they towed the political line of an obvious Socialist, probably Muslim...President...A President who swore to faithfully execute the immigration laws and instead calculatedly undermined them as completely as possible.

Trump doesn't trust the Deep State? The Swamp?

Good! Shows he is not a fool.

+++++++++++++++++

The intelligence community tried to resist Bush's assertions that their were wMDs in Iraq. They actually denied the likleihood quite strongly.
Oh, really? Did they also deny the likelihood "quite strongly" when Bill Clinton and Al Gore said the same exact fucking thing when they were trying to build public support for invading Iraq for the same exact fucking reason?

Go ahead, dance your way out of this one.

The same intelligence community that confirmed the existence of WMDs in Iraq? Why would anyone not take their word for something?
Russia is a state run by the KGB mob, that always tried to undermine American interests...they are sorta enemies and rivals. US intelligence protects you and the whole country.

Oh my, the whole world misunderstood what Trump said yesterday.
Trump thinks people will fall for his bullshit.
He's now saying he believes the US Intelligence, but that Putin believes otherwise.
Who got to Him?

Trump seeks to downplay past skepticism of Russian election meddling

Hanoi, Vietnam (CNN)President Donald Trumpdownplayed on Sunday his past skepticism of Russia's involvement in US election meddling, saying he sides with American intelligence agencies over Vladimir Putin when it comes to assigning culpability for the hack.

But he again stopped short of stating explicitly that Russia was behind the interference in the 2016 presidential election, which US intelligence has determined was conducted to help Trump.

The OP is silly and dumb on so many levels. First off, why should Trump trust what "U.S. intelligence community" says given that their track record and given the way some elements in the intelligence community have treated him? Two, have you guys ever heard of "diplomacy"? I could cite hundreds of examples of previous American presidents not challenging obvious lies from foreign leaders in public.

But the Trump haters, mots of whom know little history, don't care about any of this. They're just looking for anything and everything to smear Trump.

Putin says the United States intereferes in Russian elections; slapped the President down:

Watch Putin accuse the US of interfering in Russia’s election

I will take Republicans, over a KGB killer, spy and liar. But you like the weight lifting, petite KGB thing.
Putin disappointed me. I thought he would come here, drag obama out of the white house and chain him to the back of a pick up truck. Drag him around DC until his head popped off, like James Byrd.

Since he didn't do that, he's not much good as a dictator.

lol... your attempt at bit of sarcasm fell a little flat. perhaps next time 'eh? :itsok:

yes that must be it.

Get back to us when the fucking so called intelligence community actually gets around to examining the servers. CrowdStrikes is a Dem company and I am not buying into their bullshit.

So the CIA, NIA, and FBI are lying that our elections were interfered with by a hostile foreign government we currently have under sanctions, and the Dictator of that hostile government is telling the truth?

And whose servers are you referring to? Jared Kurshners's? Ivanka Trumps? Michael Flynns?

Your reply is so noted comrade. At least you're honest about where your loyalties lie.

Then there is Obama, who knew Putin was trying to interfere with us, and gave him leeway and 20% of our uranium mines as a punishment.

Where is your phony outrage over the Putin/Obamy love fest, comrade?

oh here we go again with that tired old but what about obamaaaaaaa comeback...

i cannot recall anything obama did or got in return regarding putin. do you? after 5+ years, nothing ever was suggested that anything came of it. unless, of course you know.... do you? have ANY idea what could have happened? & if anything nefarious did... shirley the watchdogs that foam at the mouth just thinking of hanging obama would have came forth with something.... anything.

soooooooooooooooo............... it's just another false equivalency. let me know when you can produce anything close to the 'both sides do it equally' when it comes to russian interference & obama's cabinet m'k?

We don’t need that, that’s evidence, to which you don’t hold! Too funny

& sooooooooooooooo.......................... obama got a pass from the republican CONgress who's #1 job was to make him a 1 term prez?

now THAT is too funny, spinach boy.

[
How did Putin get the "uranium mines" to Russia? His stares at Trump could be trouble. Smart, KGB mean, and beyond nicknames and glances to his soul. If he has one.

That's not the point. Putin got control of a uranium mine that can only sell its uranium to the USA. (technically N. America)

Unless they get a special approval through Congress (?) to ship it out of North America to use it for something other than making weapons.

They still are making a fortune off of US Uranium and are shipping to Canada and then overseas/

where were you when the keystone pipeline....owned by canada.... was going to run thru america.... over major american aquafurs..... that are the only source of clean drinking water..... for americans.... to the gulf coast... where it would be refined & sold on the WORLD market... ?

The Look Of Love. And Treason

President Donald Trump just sided with Russian President Vladimir Putin over the US intelligence community. That’s because in one of their conversations during an international summit in Vietnam, Putin denied that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election — and Trump bought it.

“He said he didn't meddle, he said he didn't meddle. I asked him again. You can only ask so many times,” Trump told reporters on Air Force One today. “Every time he sees me he says I didn't do that and I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it.”

It’s remarkable enough that Trump openly admitted he just believed whatever Putin told him. It’s even more startling when you realize that in January, the FBI, CIA, and NSA clearly assessed that Russia did interfere in the election — and that Putin was behind it. Here’s part of that conclusion:

We assess Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US presidential election. Russia’s goals were to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency. We further assess Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump.

Trump also took the chance to go after former prominent intelligence and law enforcement officials who disagree with his Russia views.

"I mean, give me a break, they are political hacks," Trump said. "So you look at it, I mean, you have [former CIA Director John] Brennan, you have [former Director of National Intelligence James] Clapper and you have [former FBI Director Jim] Comey. Comey is proven now to be a liar and he is proven now to be a leaker. So you look at that and you have President Putin very strongly, vehemently says he had nothing to do with them."

This isn’t the first time Trump accepted Putin’s account about election interference. On July 7, the two men had a one-on-one meeting at the G20, a gathering of the world’s top 20 economies. There, Putin also denied Russia’s efforts to interfere in the election, and Trump reportedly took it at face value.

Trump and Putin weren’t scheduled to meet during the the forum, but it was always possible that they would run into each other. They shook hands at a dinner for leaders on Friday and stood next to each other during a leaders’s photo on Saturday.

Trump added that he’d now rather discuss issues like Syria and Ukraine with Putin, noting that every time he brings up the Russia issue, Putin is unhappy. “I think he is very insulted by it,” he said.

After Trump’s comments, others might feel insulted, too — especially members of the US intelligence community.

Trump undercuts the US intelligence community again
Trump has, at best, a complicated relationship with America’s spies.

He frequently attacked the intelligence community’s skills and integrity during both the campaign and the early months of his presidency. He dismisses any investigation into Russia’s meddling as a “hoax.” He has repeatedly mocked American intelligence officers for the mistaken conclusion that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, a rationale that paved the way for the 2003 invasion.

Trump has likened American spies to Nazis because he believed they leaked information about him.

And he spent part of his first full day in office at a memorial for the CIA’s fallen heroes attacking the media and lying about the size of his crowd at the inaugural.

However, Trump does like CIA Director Mike Pompeo — but that could be because Pompeo has no problem distorting Russia-related intelligence to in Trump’s favor. The CIA told me earlier this week that Pompeo stands by the January assessment. Pompeo is reportedly in consideration to become the next secretary of state.

So Trump doesn’t seem to trust the intelligence community. That’s his choice — but it’s concerning that he’ll trust Putin instead.

Trump chooses Putin's word over the US intelligence community — again
and liberals... well they continue to just ignore FISA statements of illegal spying / warrants by obama.

imagine that. this world we live in.

DOZCrT8W4AACBnD.jpg
Trump also tweeted: "When will all the haters and fools out there realize that having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. There always playing politics - bad for our country. I want to solve North Korea, Syria, Ukraine, terrorism, and Russia can greatly help!"
LOL LOL LOL Forget what this Pool of Orange Mucus Says .... Its 100 percent Bull shit

Well, at least Trump is consistent. Abroad, he has never met a leader of an authoritarian nation (Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Philippines) that he hasn't liked. At home he shows contempt for the U.S. Constitution and democracy.

YOU idiots!
Trump is a wordsmith! Read exactly what he said about Putin... "Every time he sees me he says I didn't do that and I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it.”
A) Where in Trump's statement does Trump say he believes there was no meddling? Trump says and I'm repeating "I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it.
What Trump says is he BELIEVES PUTIN MEANS WHAT HE SAYS"....Not what Putin says is TRUE! Do you idiots understand the subtle wordsmithing here?

B) And assuming Putin really believes there was NO meddling... where were all you Obama supporters when Obama said THESE outright LIES ?
Is it possible Obama truly believed at the time he peddled these LIES were true?

C) Finally as did Obama, so too Putin... he HIRES people that believe like him and as a result he doesn't NEED to know if there was meddling or in Obama's case
like Susan Rice did lying to the 5 networks that Benghazi was because of a video and not a terrorist attack!

These are all very real reasons why Trump in all honesty can say "Every time he sees me he says I didn't do that and I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it.”

And two weeks ago, it was a tremendous, we made a tremendous deal on it. And two weeks ago, I was in Moscow, I mean, two years ago, I was in Moscow. And a lot of the people, Hugh, they were there, and they had an amazing time.

And they’re terrific people. You know, I was getting along with them so great. I really loved my weekend, I called it my weekend in Moscow. But I was with the top level people, both oligarchs and generals, and top of the government people. I can’t go further than that, but I will tell you that I met the top people, and the relationship was extraordinary..."
