To be found GUILTY of sexual assault, which is a violent felony, you must be CHARGED WITH THAT and then you fight it in a court of law in front of a jury. You must be found guilty BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT. That is a MUCH higher standard than "preponderance of evidence" used in a civil trial. That's why YOU DON'T SAY SOMEONE IS GUILTY OF A CRIME because they are found liable in a CIVIL trial.

The same court that finds you are liable for damages to your neighbors house because your sons baseball hit their window is NOT the same court that would find you GUILTY of a violent felony.

OJ was found not guilty in criminal court, but found liable in civil court. But nobody says he was found guilty of murder because the civil court found him liable. Why do blacks and whites seem to have two different standards?
