Trump still hasn't signed ethics pledge.

The ethics pledge is to be signed by the members of the transition team, not the incoming POTUS, silly...

``(iii) a Code of Ethical Conduct, which each
member of the transition team will sign and be
subject to, that reflects the content of the
ethics plans under this paragraph and at a minimum
requires transition team members to--
``(I) seek authorization from

transition team leaders or their
designees before seeking, on behalf of
the transition, access to any nonpublic
information;
``(II) keep confidential any

nonpublic information provided in the
course of the duties of the member with
the transition and exclusively use such
information for the purposes of the
transition; and
``(III) not use any nonpublic

information provided in the course of
transition duties, in any manner, for
personal or private gain for the member
or any other party at any time during or
after the transition;

He just won this week.
It's required of his team. He is the team leader. The deadline was October 1. Well before the election.

You think it just slipped his mind, and none of his advisors informed him about that law? Really? It's been publicly discussed for a few days. He knows and chooses to ignore it.

As expected, MAGAs seem to think ethics is a joke. They are truly deplorable.

Trump still hasn't agreed to abide by the "Presidential Transition Act" which is required by law and which applies to all members of his transition team before they receive top secret clearance. Updates to that bill requiring the ethics pledge were introduced by Trump ally Sen. Ron Johnson, a Wisconsin Republican, and signed into law by Trump himself in March 2020. The deadline was October 1. It was expected that making the pledge would be a common practice adhered to by all presidential hopefuls. Another example of how we have always been able to assume our elected leaders would behave in an ethical way. Obviously, trump has chosen to not limit himself to ethical behavior. The transition of presidents involves informing the new, incoming president and his transition team of top-secret information, so they will be ready on day one. Obviously, trump is not interested in any restrictions on his ethics as president, so he still ignores the law.

commie Traitor already thwarting the will of the American people and the CIC ..
The will of the people and the cic is to ignore the law?

I think signing an "ethics pledge" doesn't mean doodly squat. I'm sure Biden signed an "ethics pledge" and he was one of the most unethical Presidents in history.
Trump signed it in 2016. He'll have to do it again....or governing will be a ***** (almost impossible) for his team.

I'm surprised that his campaign manager/newly minted Chief of Staff didn't slap his ass into taking care of this.

This is bizarre. Trump and everyone on his transition team have to obey the law, and specifically in the matter of receipt and disclosure of classified information.

What more needs to be said or done?

Is it ethical to decline to enforce America's immigration laws?? Is it ethical to flout the Supreme Court's ruling on student loan forgiveness? Is it ethical to withdraw from the election because you know that you will lose?

lol, I agree, all members of Congress need to sign that. Of course, it’s going to be a pretty empty place if they do.

The pledge is part of applying for security clearances for his transition team.

Without it the transition team doesn't get access to any classified materials.

MAGAs have no moral compass. MAGAs are a great disappointment to baby Jesus and to their mothers, who raised em better.
One of the weaknesses of humans is we have to know about everyone. What they are doing. Documentation on each of us. File after file. We sign things when we should not and do not sign when we should. And hallelujah it is the truth of course. We saw the real Joe for 4 years and more. And Progs denied it. His dementia to a degree showed his real thinking and the thinking of the Prog party. They know they steal elections. And they definitely know 2020 was. Look at us. Social media is a seduction to find the goods on people. So, we can it seems mostly criticize, smear and even destroy anyone. We are in a malaise due to it.

I think it says members of the transition team have to sign it. I don’t think it says anything about the president, that I’ve seem

Then his campaign should have signed the papers. His new Chief of Staff looks like she has her shit together.
Why didn't she kick his ass to do it?
