I appreciate that you are paying attention to things. Too many dumb fucks in this country do not pay enough attention (I'm assuming you are from 'this country', but same applies to the whole world). But I gave you a thumbs down. Why?
You attempt a valid thesis, but you missed a big issue: Terrorist organizations recruit people from wherever they can find them. Every country. These terrorist organizations are genuinely organized, and they have propaganda and recruiters.
They are not necessarily from any particular religion or country, although many are from the extreme Muslim branches.
The nationality of the perpetrators is not as important as where the terrorist organizations have headquarters. The only country on your suspicious list that raises my eyebrow is Lebanon. The others have good diplomatic relationships with the USA, and most likely would want to work with US to stop such violent criminals.
So, in short, that many of the perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks are from countries not on the travel ban list is not surprising. Those countries have some free speech, and unfortunately, some of their citizens were sucked into the propaganda of the terrorist organizations.
So, terrorist organizations recruit from wherever.
The July 7th bombings in the UK, way back in like 2005, were committed by BRITISH CITIZENS.

Let's look at US terrorism in the 2020s.
First four are Americans.
Five is a British man, Faisal Akram, who was the only fatality.
Six is American
Seven was Taiwanese (at least born and raised)
The rest were American.
So, based on this who would you ban from going to the US?
