President Donald Trump will implement a 104% tariff on China on Wednesday morning after Beijing missed a deadline to drop its own barrier taxes on U.S. goods.

White House officials told the Washington Examiner that China had "until noon" on Tuesday to walk back the 34% tariff rate the country announced in response to Trump's "Liberation Day" announcement last week. The 104% rate will go into effect Wednesday at 12:01 a.m., according to the White House.

It's on now.....Stay the course Trump.

CCP China is seeking to be the dominate nation on Earth. They are focused on a huge military build-up in expectation that when they go to capture Taiwan they will be able to defeat the USA response to defend that nation/island.

They may well succeed since the USA military only has munitions stockpiles for about one to two weeks worth of combat.

Xi is finding his hold on leadership slipping and may need to start a war soon to remain in power.

We are entering a dangerous time that will make the tariff and trade squabbles seem minor in some ways. However, bumping the tariff on China may crimp their procurement enough to stave off the war. Unfortunately, history shows that such economic constrictions can sometimes accelerate onset of a conflict.

Where's my crystal ball ?

Yet, if Trump didn't start this about-face policy, then we would be continuing the decades old habit of cutting our own economic throat while helping to build-up China's economy AND it's military.

This may be our last chance to stave off the war that CCP China is moving towards starting within the next year or two.
