There are laws on human trafficking, why not amend them if they don't give enough power...

My issue is you have laws covering Drug Cartels and Human Trafficking and you are trying to use the Patriot Act without Congressional approval...

The power to designate an organization a terrorist organization doesn't come from the Pat Act, it comes from Chapter 8 of the Federal Code, dealing with Aliens and Nationalization.
