trump keeps rolling over for Putin. This base is a key for US support to NATO. trump is sending a signal to Europe that the US is becoming more aligned with Russia and Putin. The hawks in the GOP better wake up. trump is slowing becoming a Russia ally. Between Putin and Erdogan, trump is being given the "How to" become a Dictator lesson. I fully expect trump to walk away from NATO, giving Putin the green light to attack more democracies on his border.
Having lived in Greece for 22 years and being a dual citizen, Alexandropouli must be the smallest base where a few GIs were based.

The move is insignificant and of little strategic significance to the US, Greece or Turkey. It was a base founded on Bulgaria's threat to NATO in the Cold War, a long out-lived purpose .

Truly a no-brainer.

Yeah, OK ...Jimbokook is now an expert on global military deployments and Murican hegemony. :icon_rolleyes:

So you have nothing in response and immediately resort to insults. What a moron you are.

You've just returned a known Russian asset to the White House, or weren't you paying attention the last time Trump abased himself in Putin's presence, and rolled over for Putin and Erdogan, leaving the Kurds between the Turks and the Syrians.

The Kurds had to cut and run, and they were guarding 10,000 ISIS fighters, after Trump tore up the promise to protect them, in return for them guarding those prisoners.

But keep pretending that Trump isn't a total foreign relations shitshow.

The Art of the Deal is Trump caving in to every dictator on the planet.

Here's a reminder of Trump sucking Putin's dick in Helsinki.

Yea, I worked for NATO for years and never even heard of this place. Our main naval base is in Crete, Souda Bay.

More BS from one of our novice Troll Bots .

The US has over 750 bases and missions world wide ,
Explain how this loss materially affects your role .
What real importance is the Greece base?
Is Putin going to somehow march into Italy ?
Or will he feint and move into Bulgaria?

Explain why you even think NATO might still be around in 3-5 years ,rather than assuming increased expenditure to actually achieve very little --- or , as my pals say , nothing .

But cut out the FAKE NEWS , as highlighted
