How does one claim the mantle of law and order when justice is bought and paid for. I guess if you donate significant portions of money to Trump's campaign the law doesn't apply to you.

The president issued a raft of clemency grants this week, including pardoning a woman he had given relief to once before and a man whose daughter had donated millions to a Trump super PAC.

In 2021, a convicted fraudster named Adriana Camberos was freed from prison when President Trump commuted her sentence.

Rather than taking advantage of that second chance, prosecutors said, Ms. Camberos returned to crime. She and her brother were convicted in 2024 in an unrelated fraud.

This week, Mr. Trump pardoned both siblings, marking the second time Mr. Trump had opened the prison gates for Ms. Camberos.

Their pardons were among a handful of clemency grants quietly issued by Mr. Trump this week.

Did you think pardons were only for immediate relatives? Where on earth did you get that idea?

Clearly they were intended for repeat fraudsters but with Trump, fraud is kinda keeping it all in the family.

Wait people are being charged for Campaign finance violations? Or only republicans are being charged for campaign finance violations?

Trump loves fraudsters. He pardons them with nary a thought and does not give a damn about the victims.

Is that a really a surprise though?

Trump is a fraudster himself..Trump U scam, charity scam, mortgage fraud scam not to mention his “scams” with Jeffrey Epstein. Let’s not forget as well Trump’s pardoning of drug lords and drug money launderers.

At least he didn't pardon his own drug dealing son.

That being said, presidents have ultimate pardon powers and can pardon who they want. If you don't like that, change the constitution. Until then, stop bitching because your side does it too.

It's also true that pardons are for rehabilitation, not for bribing your way out of jail.

The interesting thing is that Trump 45 convinced people he was incorruptible, because he was too rich to bribe.

But Trump 47 just proved he could be bribed, but that it takes a shit load of money.
Like millions in crypto, ro hundreds of millions in donations or airplanes.

Pardons aren't "for" anything.
Pardons are official acts of forgiveness for a crime, issued by a president or governor, that relieve an individual of some or all legal consequences of a conviction,

They serve as a tool for rehabilitation, justice, or national healing, allowing people who've "paid their debt to society" to reintegrate fully, and can be sought after completing sentences, showing remorse, and demonstrating rehabilitation.

Some pardons followed large donations to Trump or his political activities, such as a nursing home executive whose mother donated $1 million before his pardon for tax fraud and restitution

You're wrong.
Under Trump 47, pardons are "for" - SALE.

Just like under Biden. That ******* child molester was more for sale than Trump will ever be. Trump is a billionaire, and WAS A BILLIONAIRE BEFORE becoming president; he doesn't need your ******* money. ******* ****** Biden pardoned 37 murderers on death row.

Biden promised he wouldn't pardon his son, and then did it anyway. The left was silent. So go silent now, and **** off.
