The media carefully cultivated the idea that President Trump was going to prohibit alternative energy sources. Wind, solar, hydro would be banned. The only permitted energy sources would be oil and coal.

The President, had anyone paid unbiased attention, indicated that all energy sources would be utilized. Using everything available would make us an energy powerhouse.

Holy fuck.......because to progressives, costs don't matter as long as the intentions are good. Costs do matter for Trump though and fuck if he's going to spend taxpayer money on stoopid, silly ghey energy technology that is ALWAYS going to be fringe.

If the renewables are economic IN THEIR OWN RIGHT then use them. If not then invest in development until they are; DON'T subsidise energy production which is not fit for purpose!!
