By the way, there may not have been any statute of limitations at all. Apparently, Congress eliminated the statute of limitations in sex trafficking cases sometime in 2006. Before that it had been 5 years.
If the victims got ensnared in any of Epstein’s and Maxwell’s conspiracy, then prosecutions of them — and, more importantly, any of the scum who victimized the young women — appear to still be viable.
If so, it might be a very terrible idea to prematurely release any of the files unless nobody gives a shit about prosecuting the “Johns.”
