But I believe that there's a LOT of government shenanigans involved and centered around Epstein and his island. Like money laundering for the CIA, FBI and ACT Blue (and many others)
Also intelligence gathering by Israel.

And where Epstein used people (likely blackmailing a few) and their connections to advance an agenda of his own and others....it doesn't mean that everyone who visited his island paradise was involved with sexual perversion. It will cost billions of taxpayer dollars to rebuild the prison that sits in San Francisco Bay. Also will cost billions to maintain and even more billions of dollars to bring food and water, there is no fresh water on the island. The money could better spent schools, food programs and health care AND it will add additional billions of dollars to an already huge National Debt.

This is a stupid idea. A better idea would be to build more alligator-alley type facilities from the ground up.

What prisoners are being tortured? There is a balance between inhumane torture and lax sentences. I’m all for reform and deterrence. Liberals talk a good game of reform but the results are high rates of repeat offenders. While not hardened criminals, Liberals created a climate where criminals are not afraid to steal from retailers. How is that good for society?

Many of building on the Rock have no roof. walls crumbling. Food, Water, Medicine would be brought in from the mainland. There are quarters for guards and/or their families who would live there. Gail and I did that tour a few years ago. I have a somewhat personal contact with The Rock When the AIM (American Indian Movement) took over The Rock, one of the government reps sent to the island was my Dad. He had been a Camp Park Job Corps Center in Pleasanton as a staff member. Several of Native Americans on Alcatraz had been Parks and knew my Dad, they called him, "Mr. Charlie" (a somewhat racist term) he came to island talked with them. He respected them, and they respected him. Dad was never insulted by the name, mainly first name was Charles.

Alcatraz has not been occupied in 60 years. Even at that time, it was in poor shape.
