Trump loves autocrats and despises elected leaders. No one can really dispute that. He sucks up to Putin, Xi, Erdogan, Bin Salman or any other leader who can summarily get rid of their political opponents or imprison journalists. Many of Trump's supporters love him for it. They just wish Trump had that kind of power.
