When Trump is claiming Putin will abide by any Ukraine Peace Deal, I say "In what world?" (note: Georgia text OP's own words)

This is one of the reasons Putin feared Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden as well as Harris - they all viewed Putin as what he is -- an enemy of freedom, and enemy of liberty, and enemy of democracy, an enemy of the people of the USA.

Trump Says He Believes Putin Would Abide by Any Ukraine Peace Deal -
During a visit to the White House by the British prime minister, President Trump refused to pledge U.S. military support for a peacekeeping force for Ukraine.
President Trump said Thursday that he trusted President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia not to violate the terms of a potential peace deal with Ukraine, even as he refused to pledge U.S. military support for a peacekeeping force.
“I think he’ll keep his word,” Mr. Trump said of Mr. Putin as he hosted Britain’s prime minister, Keir Starmer, at the White House.
Of Mr. Putin, the president said, “I’ve known him for a long time now.”

In January 2016 while debating another candidate for the Democrats' presidential race, Bernie Sanders, Ms Clinton was asked about her relationship with Mr Putin.
"It's interesting. We've had some very tough dealings with one another," she said with a little smile.
That was an understatement.
For the last seven years, Ms Clinton and Mr Putin have been in a tit-for-tat battle of words, with their language sometimes becoming quite heated.
The two first encountered each other in an official capacity while Ms Clinton was serving as secretary of state, and Mr Putin was taking some time off from being president of Russia by being prime minister of Russia.
At the time, life was good for Mr Putin.
Though he was frustrated by being constitutionally relegated to the number two job behind his sidekick Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian people were generally supportive of him and he felt like a man on top.
She said he took her into his inner sanctum and showed her a map of the places he was intending to tag polar bears. He asked her to extend an invitation to her husband Bill to come along.
When she jokingly offering to go instead, Mr Putin was apparently unimpressed.

Never forget. We all know why Trump was always attacking the media early on - so that when he would be caught lying or whatever, he would already have set up a narrative of being a victim.

Though Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin seem to agree on a number of issues, there is one they apparently don’t see eye to eye on. While Trump argues that Hillary Clinton is too weak to be president of the United States, the Russian President appears to be genuinely afraid of Clinton.
Evidence is growing that Russia is actively working to undermine Clinton’s presidential prospects. When hackers released the emails of the Democratic National Committee just hours before the Democratic National Convention, internet security specialists found the fingerprints of Russian agencies. Then came the latest hacks of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta.

Do people actually believe Trump, or worse agree with his opinion that Putin can be trusted to abide by any agreement?

The only folks that broke any agreement were leaders in the west.

They pissed on the Minsk Agreements, and then laughed at the global community after they did it.

Putin said after that, he'd never trust the west again, since they don't have any intention to negotiate in good faith.

. . . if this so-called "peace deal," does not recognize geopolitical realities? Putin won't take it, and it will never happen.

Ukraine shills live in a fantasy land, while the rest of us just want our leaders to recognize empirical realities.

You can believe if you understand that Trump won't be permitted by government to interfere with the war against Russia.
And when the two sides get to the bargaining table, Putin and China will be calling the shots.

Trump's job is to try to spin a deal as being favourable to US/Nato.

Trump, as usual, is five steps ahead of the leftwing clowns. He's playing Putin by complimenting him, but also knowing he has the upper hand. Trump is the top negotiator in the world and has been for the last 50 years. He doesn't care about optics or media reports or who looks good. He cares about results and gets them. Trump will end this conflict. Mark my words.
Hillary, for her part, is dumber than a twopenny nail and has the charm of an iguana. She couldn't persuade an Eskimo to buy a snow shovel. She's a hateful ***** at her core, and it's unsurprising she couldn't get anything done. She's unlikeable.

There's no risk in Russia not abiding with a signed agreement. The only agreement possible will be favourable to Russia.

The US/Nato must be stopped and this is Russia's last opportunity to stop it.

It's also America's last opportunity to take down Russia as a superpower, and to dismantle the Brics alliance and it's attempt at world superiority over America.

I don't see anything but Trump's hot air and blowing smoke. He understands already that he will be whacked if he betrays his country attempts to destroy Russia.

All of that
Of course.

Right! And Trump will have already been instructed on the minimum requirements of any deal.

It's close to impossible to imagine that any deal can be acceptable to both sides. This is not about the Ukraine and never has been.

Both America and Russia can only settle with a win.

It's too important to allow Trump to meddle. Trump and his team are ass-clowns.

Only America's best negotiating team will meet with Russia across the table.

It's already evident that Trump is walking back his lies on ending the war Billie.

He knows that his life is at risk if he sells out his country.

His claims of ending the war can now be considered to be just plain silliness.

Now he's going to have to meet Putin, Lavrov, and Russia's best. America can't allow Trump and his ass-clowns to stand for America in any serious negotiations, unless Trump has been instructed ahead of time on what to say.

Trump is a fool.

So what are libs suggesting, War with the Russian Federation?

Remember what B. Hussein O. told Putin's underling "Tell Vlad I'll be more flexible after the election"

Even radical leftists like the Big O wanted to negotiate.

The only difference now is that libs are ready to burn down the world, if necessary, to get revenge on voters who rejected them in a landslide in November.

It wasn't Putin who broke Minsk 2 it wa Porky Poroschenko the Germans and French admitted that they only went along to give the Ukrainians time to re arm after the Donbass Militai kicked their arse at Donetsk airport and Debeltseve, the west have spun a narrative for years that has no relation to reality.

More Gold Medals for the BIG Boppers Trumpfy and Vance .

The coke snorting Midget slapped into place because he had no negotiating card of any description .

The war is beyond recovery for ex-Ukraine , the US and NATO .

But Trumpfy has a good resources possibility. Depending how Pooty Poops is prepared to act .
And he holds all the Aces

When are you going to understand that none of this war is about the Ukraine. When you do you'll realize that Trump slapped down Zelensky for show to the media.

And now it's easy to predict that there will be a negotiation in which Trump will have received instructions on what the US can agree to with Russia.

That means that there's no peace agreement possible. Both America and Russia must win!

Trump is a fool.
Don't worry, Trump won't be permitted to sell the farm on the war.

If America runs away with it's tail between its legs again this time, it's finished as the world's foremost superpower.

But you said Trump started the war. So why won't he be calling the shots?

You are contradicting yourself here. You said Trump was calling the shots. That Putin takes his orders from Trump.
